    Bristol City 0-0 Sheff Wed

    And another chance for City!

Scott Twine with his third presentable opportunity of the game but he can only head wide unmarked in the middle of the box from Rob Atkinson's cross.

  2. Postpublished at 16:10 GMT 24 January

    Blackburn 1-1 Watford

Luca Kjerrumgaard is off target with an early effort for Watford.

Blackburn have conceded at least two goals in each of their four league games so far in 2026.

    Encouragement for the visitors?

  4. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:08 GMT 24 January

    Bristol City 0-0 Sheff Wed

This is more like it from Bristol City. Sinclair Armstrong has a pop and it takes a big deflection but Murphy Cooper does very well in the visiting goal to send it around the post with his trailing leg having already dived the other way.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:07 GMT 24 January

    Hull 2-0 Swansea

Josh Key has replaced Ethan Galbraith at the break for Swansea.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:06 GMT 24 January

    Leicester 0-1 Oxford

Leicester boss Marti Cifuentes has turned to his bench at the break and made a change in defence, with Luke Thomas replacing Ben Nelson.

  7. Postpublished at 16:06 GMT 24 January

    Bristol City 0-0 Sheff Wed

It's the Owls doing the early pressing as they win a couple of corners at the start of the second half.

Radek Vitek is forced into a save in the Robins goal before Sinclair Armstrong twice has to head away the danger.

A bit of frustration at Ashton Gate.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:04 GMT 24 January

    Bristol City 0-0 Sheff Wed

Gerhard Struber isn't wasting any time for Bristol City. He wants that all-important goal.

George Earthy has made way for Sinclair Armstrong and it's two up top for this second half for City.

    HT: Leicester 0-1 Oxford

There's a lot of Premier League experience in that Leicester XI but they are not performing like it...

  12. 'Wrexham performance littered with mistakes'published at 16:00 GMT 24 January

    HT: QPR 1-0 Wrexham

    Chris Wathan
BBC Sport Wales at Loftus Road

Phil Parkinson will have no complaints at this scoreline, though he will have every right to have his issues with some of his own players.

Wrexham have been right off it, a performance littered with mistakes without once threatening Joe Walsh's goal. Scrappy is being kind.

A bare and bobbly pitch might not have helped, but it's been no issue for QPR who have looked comfortable in their control. A full house at Loftus Road giving their team full marks at the break.

  13. 'It is very tense'published at 15:57 GMT 24 January

    HT: Sheff Utd 2-0 Ipswich

Intense first half, there has been a real edge to the game. Chances for both sides but it always felt like a goal was going to come for the home side. They've been bang up for it.

Eventually it did. Delightful finish from Callum O'Hare dinking over Christian Walton.

Ipswich will be kicking themselves after having two big chances moments before.

Sheffield United then got a second through Andre Brooks. A powerful strike from the edge of the area. Ipswich just falling apart at the back.

As the players walked down the tunnel, there were loads of words exchanged, a few shirts pulled. It is very tense.

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:51 GMT 24 January

    Birmingham 1-0 Stoke

    Birmingham celebrate scoringImage source, PA

Stoke really, really, really need to sign a striker next week if they are going to have any sort of a run-in. The Potters are down to 11th as it stands, with Blues moving level on points...

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:50 GMT 24 January

    Sheff Utd 2-0 Ipswich

Sheffield United are two up and automatic promotion-chasing Ipswich are in trouble at the break.

Callum O'Hare gave the Blades the lead with a wonderful dinked finish to cap a sweeping breakaway before Andre Brooks fired in on the stroke of half-time.

  16. 'A controlled, disciplined performance' from Hullpublished at 15:50 GMT 24 January

    HT: Hull 2-0 Swansea

    Chris Cooper
    BBC Radio Humberside commentator

It is the fifth time this referee has been here this season.

What a comfortable half he and Hull have had though.

A controlled, disciplined performance, attacking with some freedom as well, thoroughly deserving of the 2-0 lead at half-time.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:50 GMT 24 January

    Leicester 0-1 Oxford

Oxford are halfway to what would be a massive win at the bottom of the table.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 GMT 24 January

    Blackburn 1-1 Watford

Watford are in the top six as things stand but will be unhappy they did not make more of their early dominance.

They went ahead when their seventh corner was converted by Edo Kayembe only to concede the equaliser within two minutes as Lewis Miller found the net with Blackburn's first shot of the game.

Luca Kjerrumgaard brought an early save out of Rovers' goalkeeper Balazs Toth as Watford opened strongly but they have rather let the home side back into this one.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 GMT 24 January

    Hull 2-0 Swansea

Hull City have a commanding lead at the break.

A case of what could have been for Swansea after Zan Vipotnik missed two excellent chances.

But Oli McBurnie's penalty and Regan Slater's piledriver have the Tigers play-off push picking up serious pace.

Hull are on course for a third win in a week.

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 GMT 24 January

    QPR 1-0 Wrexham

Dominant stuff from QPR who lead through a Harvey Vale rocket.

Paul Smyth, Vale, Amadou Mbengue and Steve Cook have all come close to a second for the home side with Wrexham failing to produce a single effort on goal.

The only concern for Rangers will be they are not further ahead.
