    Freya Godfrey (45+1 mins)

    What is going on?!

Brighton are denied by the woodwork for the second time in quick succession and are immediately caught out on the counter.

Freya Godfrey races free on the right and curls the ball into the goal to give London City Lionesses the lead on the stroke of half time.

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 12:41 GMT 1 February

    Man Utd 0-0 Liverpool

    Level at the break.

  4. Postpublished at 12:41 GMT 1 February

    Man Utd 0-0 Liverpool

That's a strange decision. Ceri Holland does really well to hold off Jayde Riviere, but the referee thinks she's been too physical and she gifts Manchester United a free-kick from 25-yards out.

Luckily for Holland, who was in disbelief at the decision, it comes to nothing.

  5. Postpublished at 12:40 GMT 1 February

    Brighton 1-1 London City Lionesses

Chaos in the Brighton area as London City Lionesses enjoy a rare foray forward.

Bodies are thrown everywhere with the ball pin-balling around at the foot of the post and it eventually goes out of play after being cleared into Izzy Goodwin's face.

  6. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 12:38 GMT 1 February

    Everton 1-1 Aston Villa

Everton also rattle the woodwork! Ornella Vignola, their leading scorer in the league this season, wraps her foot around one but hits the post.

  7. Postpublished at 12:38 GMT 1 February

    Man Utd 0-0 Liverpool

A few Manchester United players could have had a crack at goal there, but they try to walk it into the Liverpool goal instead.

The ball ends up with Melvine Malard, who probably was offside, and her shot is easily collected by Jennifer Falk.

  8. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 12:37 GMT 1 February

    Brighton 1-1 London City Lionesses

    Off the post!

Kiko Seike, once again, is at the heart of the action, playing the ball into the box from the right wing. It falls to Madison Haley and her first time effort strikes the post. Goalkeeper Elene Lete was nowhere near it.

  9. Postpublished at 12:36 GMT 1 February

    Everton 1-1 Aston Villa

    Aston Villa should be ahead.

They break free from inside their own half through Kirsty Hanson and she releases Georgia Mullett.

She has one, two, three bites at it but Courtney Brosnan stands tall every time.

Looking at this, you certainly wouldn't say that Liverpool are at the bottom.

  11. Postpublished at 12:32 GMT 1 February

    Man Utd 0-0 Liverpool

Denise O'Sullivan not only helps solidify Liverpool's defence, she's also a threat going forwards.

Liverpool's new centre-back makes a darting run up the middle of the park before spraying it out to Ceri Holland, whose cross in is blocked by Jayde Riviere.

The resulting corner comes to nothing as Phallon Tullis-Joyce punches the ball clear.

  12. goal

GOAL - Brighton 1-1 London City Lionessespublished at 12:32 GMT 1 February

Moeka Minami own goal (36 mins)

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. Moeka Minami won't want to see that again.

London City Lionesses' Freya Godfrey plays in a cross from the right and Minami gets a strong right foot on it to plant it past a stranded Chiamaka Nnadozie. Great finish, wrong end.

London City hadn't registered a shot on target prior to that. Completely against the run of play.

As a Man Utd fan, I'm a bit concerned that Marc Skinner is starting to pick his 'favourite' players rather than his 'best; players. Today's starting 11 is not out best 11, given the new signings.

    Martina Fernandez (32 mins)

    Everton are level!

  15. Postpublished at 12:28 GMT 1 February

    West Ham 1-0 Tottenham

That's as close as Tottenham have come to a goal.

They loft a high ball into the box and it falls to Drew Spence, who is stood in front of Megan Walsh on the goal-line. But the midfielder somehow heads it up and over the crossbar.

  16. Postpublished at 12:28 GMT 1 February

    Everton 0-1 Aston Villa

Ooooh. Great delivery from Nicole Momiki! Aston Villa's Oceane Deslandes gets a head on it and goalkeeper Sabrina D'Angelo has to claw the ball away from goal.

  17. 'You can see the movement of Manchester United'published at 12:27 GMT 1 February

    Man Utd 0-0 Liverpool

    Sue Smith

Liverpool do look very organised off the ball but you can see the movement of Manchester United

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:27 GMT 1 February

    Everton 0-1 Aston Villa

Aston Villa's Anna Patten goes into the referee's book.

Everton have a free-kick in a promising position on the right. Nicole Momiki is standing over it.

  19. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:26 GMT 1 February

    Man Utd 0-0 Liverpool

Another yellow card at Leigh. This time it's for Liverpool's Alice Bergstrom, who pulls on the shirt of Melvine Malard to stop her from breaking forward with pace.

  20. Postpublished at 12:25 GMT 1 February

    Brighton 1-0 London City Lionesses

This match has come alive after a fairly average opening 20 minutes.

Brighton's Kiko Seike, hungry for a second goal, lets rip from 25 yards and brings a good save from Elene Lete, getting down low to her right.
