Mathias Jensen's close-range shot from Romelle Donovan's cut-back deflects off a defender and Charles has to readjust at the very last minute, clawing the ball away with an outstretched left arm as he dives to his right.
Charles is down with a shoulder issue following that epic intervention, however...

Relief for Aaron Ramsdale after he makes a meal of a shot from Eli Junior Kroupi.
It was well struck from the Bournemouth forward but right at Ramsdale. The ball bounces off him, though, allowing Evanilson to nip in, dink the ball over him and finish.
But the offside flag was up. Evanilson had strayed beyond the last defender when Kroupi took the shot.

Morgan Whittaker looks a tidy player and has been the main threat for Boro here but he could do with using his right foot from time to time. Makes him very predictable being all left.

Pierce Charles races out of his goal but is beaten to a pass by Keane Lewis-Potter, who rounds the Wednesday goalkeeper but has to check his run as he's forced wide in doing so.
The Bees' goalscorer lifts a cross in for Romelle Donovan, but his team-mate, immediately swarmed by defenders, can't provide the finishing touch after he brings the ball down - and Wednesday scramble clear.

Newcastle finally take the lead.
Harvey Barnes, the hero in midweek, strikes again with a finish poked beyond Bournemouth goalkeeper Djorde Petrovic.
The winger held the ball up nicely before playing the pass to Nick Woltemade, who got it back to Barnes with a superb pass with the outside of his right boot.
Perfectly weighted to put Barnes through and he did the rest.
