He's freed by an excellent pass but then looks to have made the wrong choice with a weak attempted pass to Evanilson.
The ball comes back to him, Eli Junior Kroupi is in acres of space to his right but Brooks chooses to go it alone, switching the ball onto his right foot and curling it into the bottom corner!

This is the first meeting between Charlton and Chelsea since a February 2007 Premier League encounter, won 1-0 by the Blues. The Addicks have lost eight of their last 11 in all competitions against their London rivals (W1 D2).
