On the interest in Fulham's Harry Wilson:
What has surprised me is that Fulham haven't had this deal done already. They won't want to lose him and will be doing everything that they can. He has got the keys to the football club and if they can do the contract then he will be in a good place. There is uncertainty around the manager though.
Aston Villa might be a good fit, but will he play? There is loads of competition those positions. He is at that age now where he wants to play and do so as high as he possibly can.

I'm not saying Fulham would entertain it given how well he is playing but they have a ready replacement there now, and I understand there is an interest in him.

I’d like a CM seeing as we’re pretty light but we desperately NEED a CB, but it’s bold to assume that West Ham are capable of signing at least one but we probably need two.

The bigger clubs have done the business that they set out to do, or they are sitting out altogether. That is the problem with this window, the amount spent is down.
Premier League clubs have so much money now that they don't have to be forced into deals, that is why people such as Adam Wharton and Elliot Anderson, who are hugely coveted by the bigger clubs, are not moving anywhere.

Wolves are set to complete a loan move for Marseille's England midfielder Angel Gomes.
Talks have been ongoing between the clubs over a return to the Premier League for the former Manchester United player.
Sources are indicating a deal is at an advanced stage over an initial loan that will include an option to buy.
Gomes joined Marseille from Lille in the summer but has not started a Ligue 1 match since November and a decision has been made that he can leave this month.
He has scored four goals in 20 appearances in all competitions for the French club but did not start a Champions League match.
The 25-year-old came through the ranks at Manchester United, where he made 10 senior appearances.
When he made his senior debut - replacing Wayne Rooney as a substitute at 16 years and 263 days old - he became the youngest player to represent Manchester United since Duncan Edwards in 1953.
Gomes has four England caps, all made under former caretaker manager Lee Carsley, but his last international appearance was in October 2024.

Image source, Getty ImagesChelsea remain open to accelerating a major deal originally planned for the summer, with a centre-back, central midfielder or attacker all under consideration on January’s transfer deadline day.
The most prominent target was Rennes defender Jeremy Jacquet, but the Frenchman is now on the verge of completing a £60m move to Liverpool for next season.
It leaves Chelsea without any known major incoming deals this stage despite a willingness to do so if the right player becomes available.
Instead, central defender Aaron Anselmino is joining Strasbourg on loan so Mamadou Sarr can return to Chelsea to reunite with head coach Liam Rosenior, who joined from the French club in early January.
Chelsea have outgoings with Axel Disasi, Tyrique George and David Datro Fofana leaving on loan or permanent moves. George is close to joining Everton on loan.

Liverpool look to be close to completing their swoop for Rennes defender Jeremy Jacquet, with the 20-year-old France Under-21 international reportedly flying into the north west.
The Athletic's David Ornstein, external has reported that Jacquet is expected to have a medical at Liverpool this morning as they work with Rennes on a £60m deal, which would not see the young defender move to Anfield until the summer.
Reports suggest he will sign a contract at Liverpool until 2031, with the option of a further year.

Liverpool have agreed a £60m deal for Rennes defender Jeremy Jacquet - but the centre-half will not be joining the club in the current transfer window.
Subject to a medical, the 20-year-old will move to the Reds in the summer after the clubs reached agreement on a £55m fee plus £5m in add-ons.
Personal terms are not expected to be an issue with the France Under-21 international.
Chelsea are known to have held talks with Jacquet during the winter window, but it is understood they will not match Liverpool's bid.
Liverpool are looking to bolster their centre-back options, with France defender Ibrahima Konate's current contract set to expire at the end of this season.
Arne Slot's side missed out on Marc Guehi last summer, with the England centre-half then opting to join Manchester City in January.
Jacquet came through the Rennes academy and has played for the club 18 times this season, with a string of standout performances making him a target for some of Europe's elite sides - and Liverpool see him as a long-term investment.

The Strand Larsen deal is now expected to accelerate Jean-Philippe Mateta's move to AC Milan.
Mateta, 28, wants to leave Selhurst Park for the Italian side but Palace have been unwilling to let the France international go without a replacement.
But with Strand Larsen now set to join Palace, sources are indicating that Mateta's protracted move to the San Siro will now gather pace.
Palace are open to selling Mateta this month provided they recoup a fee of between £35million and £40million.
It remains to be seen whether Milan make a formal offer close to the fee Palace are looking for, with sources indicating the Serie A side want to pay closer to £30million plus add-ons.
Nottingham Forest saw a £35million bid for Mateta rejected by Palace last weekend but the striker has made it clear he wants to join Milan.
Wolves, meanwhile, are moving to replace Strand Larsen and are close to reaching a deal for Southampton striker Adam Armstrong for an initial £7m.
There is growing confidence the move will be done as Wolves prepare for their expected relegation to the Championship.
The 28-year-old has 11 goals for Saints in the Championship this season and has 43 goals for the club since joining from Blackburn in 2021.

Wolves have accepted a reduced offer worth £48m for striker Jorgen Strand Larsen from Crystal Palace.
Last week, the two clubs reached an agreement in principle over a £50m deal for the Norway international to move to Selhurst Park.
All that was left was for Palace to submit a written offer - and provided the bid was of the value discussed, Wolves would have accepted.
However, as BBC Sport revealed, the offer never arrived as Palace communicated their intention to walk away from the deal, which put the transfer in jeopardy.
Sources claim that Palace's decision to pause final talks was down to reservations over the total cost of the deal, not concerns over the player.
The impasse in recent days has placed further doubt on the deal.
