On Nicolas Jackson: "We are completely 100% happy with Nicolas. He is working hard since I arrived, he's very good on the ball in terms of numbers. We are very happy."

On Wesley Fofana: "He did very well. We have to protect him from his injury last year - he did fantastic."

On positioning in the league: "The points are important, but in this moment the most important thing is the way we progress.

"We are in the right direction, but many things we can do better.

"We can attack better and defend better. It is a process and we are learning."

West Ham United

West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui, speaking to BBC MOTD: "It's a bad day for sure.

"We lost one match that we had a big expectations to compete much better.

"It has been soft goals we have suffered. Before the first goal we have a clear chance with Kudus, but after we have to be more consistent and we cannot accept this action.

"To compete in the Premier League you have to be more consistent. We had more ball than them, but the only stat that is important is they have more goals.

"The third goal was key and in the half-time, we were thinking one goal would be key for us to believe.

"It is true we suffered early on in the second half."

On three successive home defeats in the league: "There is no excuse.

"In all of them we can be more consistent. We have to be honest and know that we need to improve, this group and players will improve.

"The only thing we have to say for the fans is thank you. We have to give them things and the only thing you can give is your best."

In a huge game between two winless sides, Everton, for the third week in a row, have a lead to defend.

Dean Huijsen is shown a yellow card for hauling down Mohamed Salah as the Egyptian charges towards the Bournemouth box. Luckily for Huijsen, team-mate Illia Zabarnyi was back for cover so it's just a booking.

The whistle goes and that has been the perfect half for Liverpool. Arne Slot's side, three goals to the good, are well on course to make it four wins from five in the Premier League.

The tackles are flying and it's making for an enjoyable West Midlands derby.

Wolves look dangerous on the break and a pass sends Jorgen Strand Larsen through but Emi Martinez makes the save.

Leif Davis picks out Dara O'Shea with a corner but the Ipswich's defender is straight at Aaron Ramsdale.

Relief for Ramsdale, whose mistake - a pass straight to Davis - led to that corner.

Liverpool are in cruise control as we approach half-time at Anfield and Andoni Iraola will just be desperate to get his team in before things get any worse.

The visitors had been competitive, and had that early goal disallowed for offside, but they have fallen apart since.
