  1. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:54 GMT 29 November 2025

    Coventry 2-1 Charlton

The leaders have turned this around.

Harvey Knibbs gave Charlton a shock early lead with the Addicks coming out on the front foot with Isaac Olaofe also going close.

Bobby Thomas had had two headers saved before Josh Eccles levelled matters with a tidy finish from the edge of the box.

That turned into two goals in four minutes with Ellis Simms heading in from a corner.

The Sky Blues are just in that zone where they don't believe they can be beaten.

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:52 GMT 29 November 2025

    Norwich 3-1 QPR

Hard to believe Norwich are yet to win at Carrow Road - they've been well on top since regaining and then quickly extending their lead.

Emiliano Marcondes put another effort just wide from close range, with the influential Kenny McLean setting up Oscar Schwartau for a header that was also off target.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:50 GMT 29 November 2025

    Sheff Wed 2-1 Preston

We said earlier that Hillsborough had been a happy hunting ground for visitors this season, but not today.

Those two Charlie McNeill goals, sandwiched by Ben Whiteman's equaliser has the Owls in front as they seek a first win at home since April and only a second triumph of this troubled season.

North End very much second best at the break.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 GMT 29 November 2025

    Middlesbrough 0-1 Derby

New Boro head coach Kim Hellberg has a big teamtalk on day one with his side trailing.

Patrick Agyemang's very early goal has the Rams on course for a fourth straight win on the road and a place in the top six, as things stand.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 GMT 29 November 2025

    Millwall 0-0 Southampton

Somehow, amid this Championship goalfest, there are none on the menu at the Den.

Which isn't to say there haven't been chances at both ends. Millwall striker Mihailo Ivanovic has just headed a Femi Azeez cross wide, with Adam Armstrong forcing a low stop from Max Crocombe at the other end.

Surely this deadlock will be broken after the break.

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 GMT 29 November 2025

    Wrexham 0-1 Blackburn

Andri Gudjohnsen's header has Blackburn ahead at the break and going well in the hunt for a fourth successive away win.

Yuki Ohashi has also volleyed wide while James McClean's header into the side netting is the closest Wrexham have come.

This Coventry have got gears, they can pick it up, they can slow it down, it's all down to game management.

Every time Coventry come forward it looks like something will come from it.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47 GMT 29 November 2025

    West Brom 0-2 Swansea

A dream half for Swansea and Vitor Matos. A nightmare for West Brom and Ryan Mason.

Those two early goals from Zan Vipotnik (11 seconds, remember) and Ethan Galbraith have the Swans in control of proceedings.

The Baggies need to do something as their November slump shows no signs of stopping.

Absolutely [David, 15:33]! The regular competitive and unpredictive nature, with sufficient flashes of quality in the Championship, make it the most exciting professional football division in the UK.

    You should never doubt them.

Ellis Simms is on the end of a corner at the near post to glance it past Thomas Kaminski.

  19. Postpublished at 15:40 GMT 29 November 2025

    Sheff Wed 2-1 Preston

Six days ago, Sheffied Wednesday meekly surrendered in the Steel City derby to Sheffield United but this is much better in front of their long-suffering fans.

Only a fine save from Daniel Iversen to deny Bailey Cadamarteri has prevented Wednesday from doubling their advantage.

  20. Postpublished at 15:36 GMT 29 November 2025

    Middlesbrough 0-1 Derby

Middlesbrough are playing with four changes from the sides that lost to Coventry on Tuesday - that is quite a lot when you factor in the new voice in the dressing room to guide them in Kim Hellberg.

Sontje Hansen, Delano Burgzorg and Matt Targett have been in and around the team all season. But Alex Bangura has been brought in for his first game all campaign.
