I've been saying for a few seasons, it's going to take all the other top teams to gang up on City to wrestle a league title away from them. Arsenal and Liverpool fluffed it at the end of last season. Looks like we're finally getting somewhere this. We'll see if LFC are as ruthless as they have been good, go and put City down next weekend.

City defender Manuel Akanji gets tired of passing and shoots from the edge of the box. It's blocked and goes for a corner. From the corner, Kevin de Bruyne has a shot blocked. And then Bernardo Silva volleys over.
The stats will show City have had a decent amount of shots, much more than Spurs have. But they've not been good shots.

It is mad though that City have lost 5 games in a row, 3 in the Premier League and are STILL second. I'm a United fan and if we concede a corner we drop a place in the league.

Manchester City have won just three of their last 10 Premier League games against Tottenham (D2 L5) and are looking to win consecutive meetings with them for the first time since April 2019.
Tottenham have scored at least twice in each of their last three Premier League away games against Man City, winning 3-2 in 2021-22, losing 4-2 in 2022-23 and drawing 3-3 last season. No team has ever scored multiple goals in four consecutive Premier League visits to the Citizens.
