Wolves

Wolves boss Vitor Pereira told BBC Sport: "Yes [frustrating].

"I'm very proud of my team. I think we competed since the first minute until the last minute in a difficult stadium.

"In the end I have a question. How is it possible for a team to press and be aggressive and win duels if we got yellow cards [for a lot of incidents]? It spoiled our game. It's not possible to be aggressive and compete at this level with yellow cards in the middle of the field."

What they need to change: "Score goals when we have the chance. We had the chances. If we play without yellow cards and can be ourselves this is the spirit I want to see."

Leeds United

Leeds manager Daniel Farke, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "Yeah, of course, as we all know, sometimes football can be cruel and can be heart-breaking.

"Sometimes you are on the lucky side and today we were definitely on the unlucky side. I feel for the lads, after a couple of difficult weeks, we showed an excellent away performance - we were rock solid.

"We did not give any chances away then in the 95th or 96th minute, pretty much the last situation of the game to lose with an own goal, it was not even a chance. The circumstances before when it was a throw-in for us and they changed their decision - it was heart-breaking for us.

"Football can be like this but I'm just proud of the performance and how we dealt with the offensive threats of Fulham, how controlled we were. For 65 minutes, we looked the side more likely to win this game."

On the Gudmundsson own goal: "I'm working a long time in football but such a strange situation, I've not seen. Even a striker would struggle to score such a header. I think maybe we was concentrated on the blocking and lost his balance and was then a bit surprised.

"It's difficult to explain. Of course, he's the most heart-broken in the dressing room so he doesn't need any criticism from me. He needs an arm around the shoulder.

"It was an excellent performance and it was tough for him, tough for the lads, who deserved more."

On the attack: "They did very well. It's never easy, first game for Noah [Okafor] and Dominic [Calvert-Lewin] and it's a difficult away game. It's a bit easier to come in in a home game but I got the feeling today was the right time.

"Noah went for as long as he could and was excellent, I'm glad he could play for 70 minutes. Same as Dominic after such a long break. I was pleased with them and Brenden Aaronson was fantastic - I've never seen a winger defend that left-side of Fulham like he did.

"We had good situations and could have been a bit more effective in those situations."

Everton

Everton boss David Moyes, BBC MOTD: "If anybody was going to win it, I thought it was us on our performance today. We did so many good things in the game, and we just couldn't get that finishing touch.

"I think a manager's job is to raise expectations, that is part of it, but everybody here is aware of where we came from. We are trying to recreate and rebuild in a new stadium.

"We just couldn't' get that goal."

On Jack Grealish: "It is certainly making us more excited at the moment. Jack is giving us great balance and it is giving the whole team confidence. Hopefully, we can continue that."

On chances missed: "I have said many times we don't buy £70m strikers or whatever you might expect.

"We have two good centre forwards who are learning their trade. Beto has been fantastic, he got a couple of chances and didn't score.

"I don't know any strikers in the league who don't go through periods where they don't score."

Aston Villa

Aston Villa boss Unai Emery, speaking to BBC MOTD: "Good evening, we competed very well. Again, the goalkeeper [Emi Martinez] coming back playing a fantastic match.

"He saved us a lot of times. He made us confident we could play with our identity. Of course, we need defence and a lot of corners and a throw-in defence compact like we did. We need to get more confidence to play with the ball.

"Get more in their box – this is now our next step forward after a lot of difficulties we have had.

"Today I am so happy because we played compact and we played committed. The players followed the gameplan we had.

"Of course, offensively we need more. We need to try to help out strikers, wingers and midfielders.

"Happy because we competed and this it the first step forward."

On Youri Tielemans: "Yes, he is injured."

"We have some players injured and out. Amadou Onana and Boubacar Kamara are going to come back.

"Youri is going to be out some matches. We need to feel confidence playing with different players."

"We are going to work, and we know inside the problem we have."

Ashley Williams

Cristian Romero’s goal should have stood. West Ham’s goalkeeper pushes his own player into Micky Van der Ven, who then collides with Kyle Walker-Peters but the Tottenham player didn’t initiate that contact. We’ve watched it back numerous times and you can see he doesn’t push Walker-Peters over.

The referee has given the decision on the field and because of that VAR is reluctant to intervene but that’s what they’re there for. We’d like to see more goals given and it’s the wrong decision, which is frustrating.

Djed Spence wins a foul near the corner flag as he goes down under pressure from Lucas Paqueta.

The free-kick is whipped in and falls to Pedro Porro, who swipes and misses the ball and that's the last bit of first-half action.

Let's hope the second half is better.

Micky van de Ven reads the game so well and he's got the pace where, if he does get the wrong side of people, he can get his team out of trouble.

Spurs have been the better team but they still haven't a shot on target to show for their efforts.

Yet another corner for Tottenham. Mads Hermansen had to be alert to that one as it nearly swung directly in.

That would have been embarrassing. A mix up between Micky van de Ven and Guglielmo Vicario almost sees the ball ricochet off Cristian Romero and into the Spurs goal.

You can see for West Ham, it's been an issue defending corners this season. All their players are trying to speak to each other but Tottenham are swinging it into the six-yard box and getting bodies in there.

Xavi Simons lifts in a lovely ball towards the back post but Mohammed Kudus can't quite get to it in time.

Another scramble in the box, with plenty more pushing and shoving as Spurs fizz in a corner.

It looked like Micky van de Ven was rugby tackled to the floor by Mateus Fernandes.

There was a VAR check, but they've decided play can continue.

Djed Spence and Lucas Bergvall link up well on the left before the ball falls to Pedro Porro on the edge of the box. The Spaniard tries to play it back to the far post where Bergvall is waiting, but he's overhit it and Bergvall would have been in an offside position.

Premier League

Premier League Match Centre on X: "The referee’s call of no goal was checked and confirmed by VAR – with it deemed that van de Ven pushed Walker-Peters in the back and impacted his ability to play the ball."
