    Pat Bonner
Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

It was quite incredible wasn't it?

Longelo, it was a terrible touch from him and it fell straight into the path of Nygren.

Yes, he could've been taken by surprise, but he tried to control it.

Chances at both ends at Celtic Park

A forward pass from Reo Hatate is misplaced but comes off Emmanuel Longelo and falls to the feet of Benjamin Nygren with the goal in front of him. The Celtic winger takes a touch instead of hitting it first time and Motherwell close him down in time.

Second later, Longelo gets a cross in that goalkeeper Viljami Sinisalo makes a mess of, but Liam Scales clears from the six-yard line.

Aberdeen striker Kevin Nisbet has cut a lone figure at times this season up front.

This afternoon, he has a strike partner to help him out, Marko Lazetic.

It will be interesting to see how the duo get on together.

  9. Postpublished at 15:11 GMT 14 March

    Hibernian 0-0 Livingston

Hibs have been hogging the ball, but it's mainly side-to-side and backwards stuff.

Here come Livingston with their first attack and a fierce shot from Stevie May is awkwardly parried away by goalkeeper Raphael Sallinger.

Rocky Bushiri is first to the loose ball and hoofs it away to safety.

Get Involvedpublished at 15:00 GMT 14 March

Our Sportsound colleagues have, meanwhile, been discussing what to do about the increasing number of pitch invasions in Scottish football.

It follows Sunday's Scottish Cup quarter-final between Rangers and Celtic at Ibrox, the chaos after which has led to an inquiry.

Talking about the Rangers v Celtic game solutions, give them both point deductions.

The teams clearly don’t think this is a big deal so won’t do anything to fix it, so give them both points deductions and then maybe the fans will police themselves.

I know this sounds like anti-Old Firm bias, but I’m sick of this issue being talked about for two days and literally nothing getting done until the next time it happens.

Cause what else can we do? Just have an even bigger percentage of police at one location? Cause I’m sure that has no repercussions for Glasgow!

  15. Tantalising prospect as title race hots uppublished at 14:58 GMT 14 March

    Celtic v Motherwell (15:00)

    Martin Dowden
BBC Sport Scotland at Celtic Park

    This is a fascinating prospect.

Celtic, having somehow come through a treacherous run of away fixtures successfully, at home to a Motherwell side who have been one of the stories of the season.

Martin O'Neill's side can heap pressure on Hearts and Rangers, who play later and tomorrow.

Motherwell can propel themselves back within two points of the defending champions with eight games left.

The bottom line here is no-one can really predict the outcome with any degree of certainty. That's the beauty of it.

  16. Big crowd at Pittodriepublished at 14:56 GMT 14 March

    Aberdeen v Falkirk (15:00)

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at Pittodrie

A big crowd is expected at Pittodrie, with around 17,000 due to turn out for Stephen Robinson's first game in charge of Aberdeen.

That is a pretty impressive attendance given the dreadful run of form the Dons have been on in recent weeks and months.

They - the home fans, of course - will be hoping to see a performance and result that suggests a corner could be about to be turned.

A really big and noisy support have made the trip north from Falkirk.

That is as clear an indication as you will get that the Bairns are riding the crest of a wave at the moment.

  17. Tough debut for Dons boss Robinsonpublished at 14:54 GMT 14 March

    Aberdeen v Falkirk (15:00)

It is a bit early for Stephen Robinson to instill the "identity and stability" he has targeted as Aberdeen's new head coach.

The Northern Irishman has left St Mirren, who sit just one place and two points behind the Dons in the Premiership table, saying he is relishing the opportunity to work with a bigger budget and facilities.

His immediate task is to improve a run of one win of 13 league games and help his squad record from last weekend's shock defeat by second-tier Dunfermline Athletic as the Scottish Cup holders missed out on a return to the semi-finals.

Robinson has promised to deal the "basics" of tightening up the defence and sharpening the attack as Aberdeen look to avoid being drawn into relegation trouble.

They will need to get those right against a Falkirk side who have beaten them 1-0 home and away already this season, have all but secured a top-six finish and reached the cup semis with a win over Dundee United last time out.

  18. Hibs strong favouritespublished at 14:52 GMT 14 March

    Hibernian v Livingston (15:00)

    Brian McLauchlin
BBC Sport Scotland at Easter Road

Hibs head coach David Gray has been very consistent in his message that the aim is always to catch the team above them and a victory over bottom side Livingston could take them to within four points of Motherwell.

Should they do so, with only eight fixtures left after today, it really would set up an exciting end to the campaign rather than watching a season that promised so much simply drift away.

Livi have had three draws in their last three fixtures and, although this represents improvement, only wins will suffice if they are to survive in the top flight.

History tells us a home win is on the cards, but Marvin Bartley's side will be looking to write their own piece of history this afternoon.

  19. Victory a must for Hibs, says Graypublished at 14:50 GMT 14 March

    Hibernian v Livingston (15:00)

Hibernian head coach David Gray tells BBC Scotland: "We need to guard against complacency, thinking because Livingston are bottom of the league it makes the game easier. It definitely doesn't.

"Livingston are fighting for their lives. Every game is massive and we need to make sure we start fast and get on the front foot.

"Our home form has been really strong and we need to make sure we get three points."

Gray explained that Grant Hanley is fit again but the plan is for the Scotland defender to feature in a bounce game on Tuesday.

  20. Don of a new era?published at 14:48 GMT 14 March

    Aberdeen v Falkirk (15:00)

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at Pittodrie

Aberdeen fans will be hoping the arrival of a new head coach can mark the ‘Don’ of a positive new era.

A near 70-day wait for a successor to Jimmy Thelin, who was sacked at the turn of the year, came to an end on Thursday with the arrival of Stephen Robinson from St Mirren.

He really could do with hitting the ground running as his new charges aim to arrest an alarming slump to ninth in the table, just eight points above the relegation play-off place.

But sixth-placed Falkirk will fancy their chances of making it three wins out of three against their Granite City opponents this term, having all but secured a top-six finish and with a Scottish Cup semi-final to look forward to.
