  1. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 12:14 GMT 4 January

    Cheltenham 0-0 Crawley

Cheltenham have the ball in the back of the net but Isaac Hutchinson's goal is ruled out for offside.

    No question about that one.

Other than that, there's been no real chances of note so far.

  2. 'Northampton are arguably frustrating Bolton'published at 12:13 GMT 4 January

    Northampton are arguably frustrating Bolton.

The opposition are allowing Eoin Toal and George Johnston to play it around, Bolton are falling into that slow play.

One of the opportunities has to be converted to change the Northampton tactics.

  3. League Two tablepublished at 12:13 GMT 4 January

Bad news Bromley fans, the weather means you won't be able to see your team in action.

The good news though is that Swindon Town won't be either and it guarantees you another week sitting at the very top before you get the chance to extend that lead next Saturday.

However, that means Swindon's opponents Harrogate Town will also be spending yet more time bottom of the pack alongside Newport, who also don't get to play today.

Only Crawley Town can hope to get themselves out of striking distance, while former league leaders Walsall can do nothing but sit and wait to see if their place in the automatic promotion spots comes under threat from MK Dons.

Chesterfield may be able to do the Saddlers a favour though as they look to surpass the hosting Dons to reach the top seven.

Promising from Luke Williams' Posh as Matt Garbett picks out Brandon Khela just outside the box.

He switches onto his left-peg and bends a curling shot from 20 yards out narrowly past the base of George Wickens' post.

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:10 GMT 4 January

    MK Dons 0-0 Chesterfield

Very early caution here for Chesterfield's Adam Lewis.

His challenge on Aaron Nemane leaves the left-back with a yellow card and hands the hosts a tantalising free-kick.

Unfortunately for the Dons though, they haven't quite unthawed just yet and they can't capitalise.

  6. Cambridge v Grimsby postponedpublished at 12:10 GMT 4 January
    Breaking

    Another one bites the dust...

Cambridge v Grimsby in League Two has been postponed because of a frozen pitch.

That means all games in the fourth tier that were scheduled for 15:00 GMT have fallen foul of the cold weather.

Keep your fingers crossed for those still on in League One!

  7. Postpublished at 12:09 GMT 4 January

    Bolton 0-0 Northampton

Bolton's Eoin Toal finds Mason Burstow in the Cobblers box but he can't quite wriggle his way past his marker and the ball breaks through for keeper Ross Fitzsimons to gather.

  8. 'Lincoln can mix it up'published at 12:08 GMT 4 January

We've seen Lincoln play some really pretty football at times.

But Lincoln have some ways of playing now, they can move it through the thirds, but they can get it forward to try and hit Freddie Draper and go about it that way, they can mix it up.

  9. Postpublished at 12:07 GMT 4 January

    MK Dons 0-0 Chesterfield

Chesterfield have the opening bite but while they have many new faces wearing their shirt, it's a well-known one that's taking aim.

Liam Mandeville, who hasn't missed a single league match for the visitors so far this season, unleashes from outside the box but it sways way too off target to cause any sweat for the Dons keeper.

  10. Postpublished at 12:05 GMT 4 January

    Lincoln 0-0 Peterborough

First glimpse of goal at the LNER goes to the visitors as Matt Garbett sends an ambitious 35-yard free-kick sailing over the crossbar.

They might be nine places apart in the table but these are the top two sides in the form table over the past six games. Should be a good one.

  11. Postpublished at 12:04 GMT 4 January

    Bolton 0-0 Northampton

Steven Schumacher has made seven changes from the draw at Doncaster with Richard Taylor making his first start and Tyler Miller getting the nod in goal.

One of those to retain his place, Ethan Erhahon, has seen an early shot blocked for the hosts, who have made a bright start.

  12. Postpublished at 12:04 GMT 4 January

    Cheltenham 0-0 Crawley

Cheltenham boss Steve Cotterill makes a couple of changes from the side the lost at Crewe.

Jake Bickerstaff and Jordan Thomas return to the starting XI while Ethon Archer misses out and Hakeeb Adelakun drops to the bench.

Crawley hand debuts to new signings Jonny Russell and striker Tobi Adeyemo.

Defender Akin Odimayo is named among the substitutes.

  13. Postpublished at 12:02 GMT 4 January

    MK Dons 0-0 Chesterfield

How's this for a Sunday surprise?

Chesterfield have announced three new signings this afternoon and you'll be able to watch all of them in action right from the off.

Sam Curtis, Sammy Braybrooke and Sil Swinkels all make the starting XI hoping to make a good first impression, while New Year's Day signing Freddie Ladapo is available from the bench.

  15. Wanderer Nolan returns with Northamptonpublished at 11:58 GMT 4 January

    Bolton v Northampton (12:00 GMT)

More good news from the Toughsheet where it is freezing cold but the game is ON.

Bolton will be glad as they seek to get back on track after a tricky festive period as they welcome former hero Kevin Nolan back to town.

Defeats by Wycombe and Mansfield - their first home loss of the season - sandwiched the dramatic Boxing Day win over Rotherham, and a late equaliser at Doncaster on Thursday saw them hold onto a spot in the top six, just... though they are now seven points adrift of the automatic promotion places.

Northampton are one of eight teams within striking distance of Plymouth, a point and two places below the Cobblers in the final relegation place.

Nolan's men bounced back from meek defeats at Mansfield and Huddersfield after Christmas with a battling 0-0 draw against high-flying Stockport on Thursday and will be looking to build on that by avoiding a fourth straight loss on the road.

Their 2-0 win in the reverse fixture in September ended a six-game winless streak against Wanderers - how they'd love to start a winning streak.

  16. Promotion-chasing Imps seek to stall Posh pushpublished at 11:57 GMT 4 January

    Lincoln v Peterborough (12:00 GMT)

Despite seeing a three-game winning streak ended by the 1-1 draw at home to Huddersfield on Thursday, Lincoln are looking to make it eight games unbeaten as they welcome Peterborough and know a win would take them level on points with League One leaders Cardiff, for at least a few hours.

Michael Skubala's side have taken 27 points from 12 home games, losing only once, against Exeter back in early October.

After taking a solitary point from their first seven games to sit bottom of the pile, Posh look a different side under Luke Williams and have climbed up to 11th with a six-match unbeaten run of their own.

Thursday's 2-0 success at Rotherham was a fifth win in those six and another victory today would, incredibly, take them within three points of the play-off places.

  17. Postpublished at 11:56 GMT 4 January

MK Dons v Chesterfield (12:00 GMT)

There's no place like home for MK Dons.

They haven't lost at Stadium MK for seven league games (W5 D2) to make winning a very chilly prospect for visitors Chesterfield - but there is a prize on the line that will get the Spireites nice and warmed up, ready to tackle the task.

Victory would see the visitors sail above the hosts on the table and entering the top six, though a win for MK Dons could potentially see them in the automatic promotion spots and closing the gap on league leaders Bromley.

  18. Robins aim to fly further clear of drop zonepublished at 11:55 GMT 4 January

    Cheltenham v Crawley (12:00 GMT)

A game between two sides towards the bottom end of League Two as they both aim to steer clear the drop zone, so a win here could prove to be pivotal.

Cheltenham are 10 points clear of safety but they have lost their past two games and they'll know that defeat today could see them sucked right back into relegation discussion at the very least, but a win would give them even more breathing space.

Crawley are just two points above the relegation places in 21st and have not won a game in their past nine league outings.

Like today's opponents, the Red Devils will be looking to avoid making it three defeats on the on the bounce.

So, another big game for Scott Lindsey's side where points are just too precious given how tight things are in the table.
