  1. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:46 GMT 8 November 2025

    Arsenal 0-1 Chelsea

A clear statement change from Sonia Bompastor as we enter the closing stages as she brings off Alyssa Thompson and Wieke Kaptein for the fresh legs of Oriane Jean-Francois and Sandy Baltimore.

  2. CLOSE!published at 13:45 GMT 8 November 2025

    Manchester United 0-1 Aston Villa

Rachel Williams rises highest in the middle to nod Anna Sandberg's cross at goal but Sabrina D'Angelo gathers.

It's exactly those situations Williams was brought on for.

  3. Postpublished at 13:43 GMT 8 November 2025

Time is ticking away for both Arsenal and Manchester United to salvage something.

We have about five minutes left plus stoppage time.

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:43 GMT 8 November 2025

    Manchester United 0-1 Aston Villa

Forgot to say Rachel Williams is on now for United.

She replaced Jess Park who's had a quiet game this afternoon.

  5. Postpublished at 13:42 GMT 8 November 2025

    Arsenal 0-1 Chelsea

That's not one Chloe Kelly will want to see again.

The Lioness had the freedom of the Chelsea box to pick her spot with a volley after great running from Olivia Smith down the right, but she balloons it closer to the corner flag than the net.

  6. Postpublished at 13:41 GMT 8 November 2025

    Manchester United 0-1 Aston Villa

Villa don't look like they're settling here, with the visitors looking likely to add to their lead rather than just hang on.

Their latest corner is curled into the middle but Phallon Tullis-Joyce does well to rise above the crowd and punch the danger clear for United.

  7. 'Scary period for Chelsea now'published at 13:40 GMT 8 November 2025

    Arsenal 0-1 Chelsea

This is where it gets super scary for Chelsea. They didn't take their earlier opportunities and now it's just one goal in it.

HUGE cheers around the Emirates as Chloe Kelly looks to save the day.

Can she do what she's done so many times for England?

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:39 GMT 8 November 2025

    Arsenal 0-1 Chelsea

One final throw of the dice from Arsenal boss Renee Slegers as she brings on Chloe Kelly for Caitlin Foord out wide.

Admittedly the Australian hasn't been as effective as she was in the first half.

  10. CLOSE!published at 13:39 GMT 8 November 2025

    Arsenal 0-1 Chelsea

Ellie Carpenter bursts to the byline on the right before firing a low cross right to the feet of Sam Kerr.

She has the wherewithal to backheel the ball in the direction of Erin Cuthbert but the Scot can't meet it in time to add to the Chelsea lead.

  11. Postpublished at 13:38 GMT 8 November 2025

    Manchester United 0-1 Aston Villa

It looks like Marc Skinner is preparing to bring on his emergency super sub Rachel Williams in a bid to salvage something from this game.

The veteran forward has rescued her side countless times before.

  12. 'United pushing hard for equaliser'published at 13:36 GMT 8 November 2025

    Manchester United 0-1 Aston Villa

    Sanny Rudravajhala
BBC Radio 5 Live at Leigh Sports Village

Villa have been cheap in possession a few times now and they'll be punished if they keep doing it.

Rachel Daly is playing as their furthest player forward now and there's always a chance her on the pitch and Villa on the break.

Natalia Arroyo hasn't stopped patrolling her technical area all game. She's made two changes and brought on Sarah Mayling to shore them up at the back and after being asleep for so long, United are awake and pushing hard for an equaliser.

  13. Postpublished at 13:36 GMT 8 November 2025

    Arsenal 0-1 Chelsea

Sam Kerr does well to outmuscle Mariona Caldentey just shy of the halfway line and drive Chelsea up field.

She then opts to rolls it to Wieke Kaptein for a one two but the return is poor and Arsenal recover the ball.

  14. Postpublished at 13:33 GMT 8 November 2025

With the sheer amount of changes in both games it's been stop-start action in the last few minutes.

We've got about 15 minutes plus stoppage time to go with both contests finely balanced at 1-0.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:33 GMT 8 November 2025

    Arsenal 0-1 Chelsea

    More changes at the Emirates.

Arsenal bring on Frida Maanum and Kyra Cooney-Cross for Stina Blackstenius and Victoria Pelova, while Sam Kerr comes on to a chorus of boos for Chelsea as she takes the place of Catarina Macario.

There is far too much nitpicking with handball and offside in the game these days, with or without VAR. Time to return common sense to the game...

  17. Postpublished at 13:31 GMT 8 November 2025

    Manchester United 0-1 Aston Villa

Melvine Malard rolls a dangerous ball through the Villa six yard box but no one in red can get on the end of it before Anna Patten hooks it away.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:31 GMT 8 November 2025

    Manchester United 0-1 Aston Villa

Another break in play as Villa's Kirsty Hanson requires treatment on her head or stomach (she's holding both) after colliding with Julia Zigiotti Olme when trying to reach United's latest corner.

With Hanson ok to continue, Villa then make a change soon after with Sara Mayling coming on for Chasity Grant.

  19. 'Better from Arsenal'published at 13:28 GMT 8 November 2025

    Arsenal 0-1 Chelsea

    Chloe Morgan
Former Crystal Palace goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

That is exactly the reason you bring on a player like Olivia Smith. She's only been on a few minutes and you can see the impact, and the fans are right behind her.

They have to pounce on those opportunities and have bodies in there. A lot better from Arsenal.

  20. Postpublished at 13:28 GMT 8 November 2025

    Arsenal 0-1 Chelsea

The injustice of the disallowed goal seems to have fuelled a fire inside the Emirates.

Stina Blackstenius, who was adjuged to have handled before the equaliser, has just gone close again after being found by Olivia Smith in the middle.

The Swede's effort was eventually cleared though after a goalmouth scramble.
