They've got to step it up.

Good half for Leicester and, as it stands, they are moving out of the relegation play-off spot on goal difference.

Unless Aston Villa can find a goal in the second half, West Ham will end the weekend at the foot of the table.

I think Lehmann has been very effective in this game. She has been on it from the start, you're always like that when you play against your former side and it was a really well-worked goal and a deserved goal from Leicester. They've been the better team this half.

That's it for the first half and Leicester City are in front thanks to a goal for Alisha Lehmann against her former club.

No more than the home side deserve.

We're into the second of two added minutes at the end of the first half as Leicester scramble the Aston Villa free-kick away.

Great skill from Chasity Grant to skip past Asmita Ale.

The Leicester defender isn't having that and pulls Grant down. A clear yellow card.

The home side are pushing for a second.

They are gifted possession by a loose pass, Hannah Cain then shows great footwork to move along the byeline again and put a dangerous ball in.

That's only half-cleared with the ball falling to Sam Tierney. The crowd urge her to shoot but she seems oddly reluctant and the chance evaporates.

That's going to do a lot for Leicester's confidence for the rest of this game.

There were just 63 seconds between Kirsty Hanson's miss and Alisha Lehmann's opening goal.

That could prove to be a huge minute in the relegation play-off battle.

What a composed, calm finish into the far corner.

Cain found Lehmann that time - pinpoint cross and an excellent finish.

What a chance for Kirsty Hanson!

Noelle Martiz's attempted through ball takes a slight deflection and that actually helps Villa as it runs into the path of Hanson.

She bursts through, nicks it around the keeper but then fires into the side-netting from a tight angle. She'll think she should have scored.

There's plenty of shouting from players of both sides as they argue over who should be awarded a throw-in.

Leicester shout the loudest in the end and the decision goes their way.

Leicester just need a spark. They need something higher up the pitch.

They look more organised. They're really working in those one v ones but they just need something up front.

Speaking to Ellen White last week, Alisha Lehmann said she already had a close relationship with the general manager at Leicester and that she'd been around the club before and was impressed by the infrastructure.

She also was taken by Rick Passmoor's approach, saying she "knew straight away he was a really good person".

Even so, she probably doesn't have a WSL relegation on her bucket list.

Nicely worked free-kick from Leicester, taking it short before Alisha Lehmann shifts it to Sam Tierney.

Her shot from the edge of the box is straight at Ellie Roebuck, though.
