Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo: "The players did it so well, we were against the ropes but we stayed in the game and found our moment. I am really happy for the boys.

"Liverpool are so good, you cannot play them and ignore the quality they have. Defensively we were really good. It was impossible for our wingers to last 90 minutes, they had to track the runners so we needed fresh legs in the second half.

"We played well, we controlled the game in the right moments and harmed them. This is a moment to enjoy for our fans. It doesn't last long but our fans are amazing and this is a big help for the players."

Nottingham Forest were outstanding.

The way they defended as a team was magnificent and this was no fluke. They stopped Liverpool everytime they got into the box.

Then they went and hit them on the break, what a finish from Callum Hudson-Odoi. What a start to the season they've had.

Nottingham Forest goalscorer Callum Hudson-Odoi: "We knew as subs we would come on at a certain point, we had fresh legs to run in behind and cause them problems. The manager told us to make an impact and we are buzzing with the win.

"I saw the space in the far corner and as soon as I hit it I knew there was a good chance of it going in. We started well and we ended well.

"It is a massive win, the atmosphere is crazy. We made sure we had the right mentality from the begining. 55 years and now it's done but we can't rely on this."

Arne Slot's honeymoon period is over, plenty of work to do.

All credit to Forest, they were on fire. They defended brilliantly and then carried that threat. Nuno Espírito Santo making positive substitutions.

A result that leaves both sides looking for their first wins of the season.

Leicester had looked good to achieve that as goals from Jamie Vardy and Stephy Mavididi either side of half-time had them 2-0 up.

But Jean-Philippe Mateta instantly pulled one back for Palace and, when Conor Coady clumsily brought down Ismaila Sarr in stoppage time, Mateta stepped up to level from the spot.

Savinho makes way for Matheus Nunes. It was originally supposed to be Kevin de Bruyne coming off there but Savinho was just feeling his hamstring and it looks like the Brazilian asked to come off instead.

Brentford have made it tricky for Manchester City so they'll be pleased to get this one over the line but something tells me Erling Haaland will be disappointed not to have bagged his hat-trick.

What a finale!

A big point for Ipswich, while Brighton didn't quite look themselves.

It was the Tractor Boys who came closest to a goal, Liam Delap hitting the outside of the box after a lung-busting dribble forward on the counter.

Brighton created plenty in the first half but faded in the second - several of their players returning from far-flung international exploits can't have helped.
