  1. KICK-OFFpublished at 14:00 BST 17 May

And off we go in Dundee, Livingston and Paisley.

  2. McCann in no mood for holiday with ninth on the linepublished at 13:55 BST 17 May

    Livingston v Kilmarnock (14:00)

Kilmarnock manager Neil McCann tells BBC Scotland: "There's no holiday yet, I said to them yesterday in our meeting that this is a really important game for the club.

"We can go and get ninth, no-one is going to hand us it, we have to go and earn it. We know it'll be a tough game. After today they're on their holidays, but not until the end of the match.

"The first XI is very much the same. The players on the bench are there on merit. I could have easily brought in some of the young boys but I think the team is reflective of my mood. I want to go and win the game."

  3. Season's closing chapter for Dundee & Aberdeenpublished at 13:54 BST 17 May

A last day bottom-six dead rubber at Dens Park may not appear the most appetising of fixtures, but Dundee and Aberdeen will be relieved it is what it is.

Both teams will be happy to have managed to disentangle themselves from being properly embroiled in the battle to avoid the dreaded relegation play-off spot.

While their results may not have reflected it, Dundee have progressed throughout the season, particularly in terms of their performances, and will want to go in to the summer on a positive note.

There has been nothing positive about Aberdeen’s campaign – this afternoon’s large travelling support will just want to see the back of it in the hope that head coach Stephen Robinson’s looming close-season rebuild can signal better times ahead.

  4. Permutationspublished at 13:52 BST 17 May

Jim Goodwin's Dundee United, who visit St Mirren, will finish seventh in this season's Scottish Premiership, making them top of the bottom six or best of the rest, depending on your point of view.

Should Dundee beat Aberdeen today, the Dens Park side will climb above the Dons into seventh.

However, if Dundee lose and Kilmarnock beat hosts Livingston, Killie will finish ninth and push Steven Pressley's side down to third bottom. Kilmarnock could even seal ninth with a win and a Dundee draw.

  5. Dundee United seek end to winless runpublished at 13:48 BST 17 May

St Mirren v Dundee United (14:00)

Dundee United may be best of the rest in seventh place this season but they have not won since their Dundee derby win late last month.

Two defeats and a draw have dampened their post-split programme but today is an opportunity to finish the season on a high.

St Mirren v Dundee United (14:00)

St Mirren's place in the Scottish Premiership play-off final was confirmed on Tuesday, despite winning away to Aberdeen.

Kilmarnock's victory over Dundee ensured St Mirren could finish no higher than 11th.

Today, the Buddies play their last game before the two-legged play-off final against Partick Thistle, who sealed their place in the final by beating Dunfermline Athletic on aggregate on Friday evening.

  7. McCann can emulate Clarke featpublished at 13:42 BST 17 May

    Livingston v Kilmarnock (14:00)

Neil McCann had a mission to keep Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership when he was appointed in January and he achieved just that in midweek.

Killie could finish this season with a fourth straight league win at Livingston, which would be a first for Kilmarnock in the Premiership since 2018 under current Scotland boss Steve Clarke.

  8. Arfield confident of Livingston's futurepublished at 13:40 BST 17 May

    Livingston v Kilmarnock (14:00)

Livingston interim Scott Arfield tells BBC Scotland: "There's a couple of players - they don't teach you about these things when you're on your license - that have, due to their circumstances and the next phases of their careers, decided, with my blessing and the club's blessing, that they're not involved today due to injuries and things like that.

"The Championship is a notoriously hard division to get out of. It's going to be a tough situation but in terms of the direction of where the club is going, whoever gets this job has a brilliant base of players here.

"I've loved peaking behind the curtain for the last 10 days and it'll stand me in good stead for the next 10 days, if I go into management in the near future."

Scott Arfield's pursuit of a first win as Livingston interim head coach continues against Kilmarnock.

Arfield oversaw defeat at Dundee then a 0-0 draw with Dundee United. Today, the midfielder, who intends to keep playing and names himself on the bench today, has one final chance to get three points from his brief stint in the dugout.

Kilmarnock, though, are in form, having won their past three league games.

  10. Robinson keen to have a look at fringe optionspublished at 13:36 BST 17 May

    Dundee v Aberdeen (14:00)

Aberdeen manager Stephen Robinson tells BBC Scotland why he has brought in Nick Suman, Kjartan Kjartansson, and Topi Keskinen.

"I have to look at them," he said. "Topi has probably been a victim of the system since we came in.

"We looked like we were going to fall and keep falling, so I had to find a system that worked to get us over the line.

"Now Topi has a chance to show me what he can do and if he should be part of things next year, as does Nick [Suman].

"Both have done very well in training so hopefully they step up to the plate.

"If you put KJ [Kjartansson] into Hearts' team, who have a real spine and solidity, perhaps he shines earlier.

"When you put him into our team where there isn't a spine and a lot of projects it does take longer.

"We like him, he's got really good attributes and we want to see how he copes with first-team football.

"I'm humbled we are getting that amount of people to watch after a season like this. Three thousand people travelling down - it's incredible. We owe the fans a performance."

Pressley and Dundee have other ideas, of course. They can finish a place or two places higher than last season

  12. Teen Gilligan makes debut as one of four United changespublished at 13:31 BST 17 May

St Mirren v Dundee United (14:00)

Dundee United have handed a debut to 17-year-old midfielder Keir Gilligan, who has played Scotland age-grade football and appears to be lining up at left wing-back.

Kristian Keresztes returns to the back three, while Craig Sibbald - who moves to Falkirk in the summer - makes a surprise start. On-loan Barnsley striker Max Watters rounds out the changes.

Bert Esselink and Johnny Russell drop to the bench but there's no Neil Farrugia in the squad. There's also no Will Ferry, who has been allowed to link up with the Republic of Ireland squad before their international friendly with Grenada.

Dario Naamo, who is expected to head to the World Cup with Iraq, returns to the bench after injury fears.

Jayden Richardson is in at right wing-back, Scott Tanser is on the left and Roland Idowu comes in to midfield.

Up top, interim manager Craig McLeish hands a first start to 16-year-old Luke Douglas (born in 2009, to make you feel old) and adds in Jake Young.

Liam Donnelly, Richard King, Jacob Devaney, Killian Phillips and Mikael Mandron are all dropped to the bench, or perhaps rested ahead of the first leg against Thistle on Thursday night.

  14. Clescenco the only change in strong Kilmarnock XIpublished at 13:24 BST 17 May

    Livingston v Kilmarnock (14:00)

It may be a dead rubber, but Kilmarnock manager Neil McCann isn't in a friendly mood as he names a full-strength team for the final game of the season.

There's only one change to the side, with Nicky Clescenco replacing Bruce Anderson in the starting XI.

David Watson, whose contract expires in the summer, has to make do with a place on the bench.

Eighteen-year-old defender Euan Bowie, who was on loan at Albion Rovers earlier in the season, could debut from the bench.

Scott Pittman, who signed a new contract through the week, drops out, with Danny Finlayson also out of the squad.

  20. Celtic clinch title in dramatic fashion, Rangers & Motherwell winpublished at 13:12 BST 17 May

The big story yesterday was Celtic's dramatic win over Hearts to clinch a fifth straight Scottish Premiership title.

Two late goals in the hosts' 3-1 win finally knocked long-time leaders Hearts off the top of the table.

Elsewhere, third-placed Rangers rounded off their season with a 5-2 win at Falkirk, who were already destined to end sixth, and Motherwell won 1-0 at Hibernian to seal fourth and consign Hibs to fifth.
