Bologna will likely be fuming with this scoreline.

Since the start of the second half Bologna have gone man for man at the back, two v two against Watkins and Rogers, and if you do that against top quality you will eventually get caught.

It's an absolutlely finish from Watkins, he gets one v one and slips it under the keeper from an acute angle.

GOAL - Bologna 0-2 Aston Villapublished at 21:10 BST 9 April

    Ollie Watkins (51 mins)

Aston Villa have had to ride their luck at times here but a two-goal advantage away from home looks very appealing.

The goal comes from a mistake as Torbjorn Heggem loses track of the ball under pressure from Emi Buendia and Ollie Watkins is there to mop up and slot into the far bottom corner.

    Lovely finish.

Forest overplay too much in the final third. With men in the box waiting, put the ball in.

Rowe is giving Cash a hard time. Plenty of energy, twisting and turning. He made a 60-70 yard run just now and cash just couldn't stay with him.

Palace in full control and a 3rd goal pretty much means a semi final is in sight. Just a bit quicker and more powerful than Fiorentina.

I don't mind the idea of playing negative football away from home - ensure you stay in the tie for the home leg. It's a problem when you can't even do that well and doesn't bode well for the mood around Villa if it carries on.

In the first match of a two legged tie, particularly away from home, you sit back and stay as tight as you possibly can.

Villa have done that as much as they could, Bologna had the ball in the back of the net, but they were lucky to get away with that. Then the break, moments before the end.

For the last few minutes of the half Villa were the better side, for the rest it was Bologna. That's European football.

Nottingham Forest have to happy with that. Struggling and a goal down after 11 minutes they have been much better since Martim Fernandes' bizarre own goal got them back on level terms.
