The hosts are venturing up the pitch more now, they're growing in confidence.

Petar Mamic makes the run and Leo Mikic tries to find him but Chris Richards gets a vital interception in.

A further blow for the hosts after going behind as captain Milan Skriniar is having to go off injured. Ex-Leicester defender Çaglar Söyüncü is sent on in his place.

Zrinjski break down the right through Marko Vranjkovic. He looks to pick out a team-mate in the box but Daniel Munoz gets himself in a good position to hack clear.

Palace need to be careful here.

Nottingham Forest immediately go on the hunt for a second as now Igor Jesus embarks on a run into the box, but his strike is blocked by Jayden Oosterwolde.

The home fans are not happy though, as Jesus played on rather than putting the ball out of play so Milan Skriniar could receive treatment.

Nottingham Forest have started exceptionally well.

They have been very good in possession and dominated possession.

The pitch seems dry and it holds up when Maxence Lacroix tries to prod it past Karlo Abramovic. The ball hits the striker's hand when it looks like he's through and Palace regain possession.

Time for Zrinjski to knock the ball around for the first time in this one as Neven Djurasek tries to spin Daichi Kamada but the Palace man commits another foul.

The hosts win their first corner of the game after Murillo challenges Nelson Semedo.

Mert Müldür has a free header from the corner but sends it over the bar, much to Forest's relief.

Dean Henderson obviously isn't great with his left foot as he plays an awful pass to Maxence Lacroix and Mario Cuze nicks it high.

Palace manage to recover but they won't want many errors like that.

Forest have another corner. The delivery is headed away but the ball is knocked back into the box. Ederson punches pretty unconvincingly to Callum Hudson-Odoi just inside the box but he lifts the ball onto the roof of the net.

"England's number one," chant the Palace fans as Dean Henderson claims a poor free-kick.

We're almost a quarter-of-an-hour in and Fenerbahce are having their first decent spell of possession. Forest, without the ball, sit in and are compact, leaving little space for the hosts to try and work through.

Daichi Kamada is too slow to the challenge and dives in late on Antonio Ivancic but avoids a booking.
