  2. 'We suffered a lot today'published at 20:14 GMT 19 February

    FT: Fenerbahce 0-3 Nottingham Forest

    Fenerbahce

Fenerbahce boss Domenico Tedesco, speaking to TNT Sports: "If you lose 0-3, many things didn't work and many things worked for Forest. In this kind of atmosphere, you gain self-confidence but we lost it and the first half was difficult for us.

"First of all, we played against a well-organised team. We played against good players. When you see the physicality and the players, it was hard for us. They have good players, good decision makers on the pitch. We suffered a lot today. It was deserved."

  3. 'The players expressed themselves'published at 20:12 GMT 19 February

    FT: Fenerbahce 0-3 Nottingham Forest

    Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest manager Vitor Pereira, speaking to TNT Sports: "The quality of the players [I liked the most]. I asked them to express themselves on the pitch. They did it.

"We had chance to score two more goals. It was a very good result. It is only half time, we need to be consistent, the schedule is tight and difficult. Everyone must be ready to help the team. This is what I ask them.

"It was a consistent game for us. We deserved the result.

"I realised before I came that the players have a lot of quality. They need results but they need to enjoy the game. If they enjoy the way they are playing they can have a high level. They need just organisation and confidence."

Confident you can keep Forest up in the Premier League? "Of course I am. We will try match by match to win the next match. It will be very difficult. It is not easy to come here and score three goals and not concede a goal. Next game will be a different game and we need to be consistent."

Nottingham Forest captain Morgan Gibbs-White, speaking to TNT Sports: "I felt we had a real identity out there. We defended well and we created so many chances."

On the new manager: "His message to us is that we will have a real identity how we play and defend as a team. We have all bought into what he wants straight away.

"It is about keep learning off each other and take it game by game.

"We needed a clean sheet and we needed a win and today felt like the perfect moment. Our fans were top tonight, they were incredible. An all-round incredible day.

"You want to enjoy every moment as a player. I said yesterday it can be difficult as footballer to enjoy moments because of how quick the games come up. We can enjoy it tonight and then prepare for Liverpool at the weekend.

"We have been going through a difficult time, confidence is the main thing and tonight will boost confidence. We just have to stay together and be the most complete team."

Can't imagine Oliver Glasner will be a very happy man in that changing room right now.

Anon: There is no justification I can think of that Palace needed three central defenders on at the end. We had players with far more experience who could be brought on in midfield. Breaking down a low block has been an issue all season and one Glasner has not figured out.

  9. 'Top class performance over 90 minutes'published at 19:43 GMT 19 February

    FT: Fenerbahce 0-3 Nottingham Forest

    Ally McCoist
Former Rangers striker on TNT Sports

Nottingham Forest were miles ahead, they just looked like a different team from a different league.

Sean Dyche might be asking a question, where has that been?

That was a top class performance over 90 minutes. Particularly the first 45 where they never put a foot wrong.

From Vitor Pereira's point of view, clean sheet, comfortable victory, all but in the next round.

The final whistle blows and it ends all square in Bosnia at the end of this first leg.

Oliver Glasner is livid with his players.

Palace look for one last attack as Chris Richards lines up the long throw.

A late chance for a fourth for Forest as Ederson pushes behind Neco Williams' decent low strike.

That's the last notable chance though and a brilliant first-half display from Nottingham Forest helped them to a win that puts them firmly in control of this knockout play-off tie.

Ismaila Sarr takes the ball bang in the face and needs a minute or two.

Fenerbahce win a free-kick late on some 25 yards from goal but Marco Asensio sends it over the bar.

Just three minutes of stoppage time at the end of the 90.

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 19:34 GMT 19 February

Another Zrinjski change with Dan Lagumdzija replacing Antonio Ivancic as we enter five minutes of added time.

    Zrinjski 1-1 Crystal Palace

I guess both sides will be content with a draw. It means everything is still all to play for in the second leg.

Palace will certainly fancy themselves at Selhurst Park, too.

Into the final minute of normal time. Fenerbahce fans to their credit stuck things out a long time but are starting to leave now.

Yeremy Pino's free-kick is awful and doesn't beat the first man.

Sums up Palace's second half really.
