It's taken around half an hour for Slot to switch Curtis Jones and Dominik Szoboszlai, with Alexis Mac Allister now pushing further forward. Liverpool have certainly looked a bit more solid since.

Yeremy Pino is inches away from breaking the deadlock after a well-worked corner.

Will Hughes drills it to the near post where it was laid back to Pino. The Spaniard strikes it firmly but it crashes back off the base of the post.

Mo Salah is given the chance to deliver for the first time in the game but he puts too much on it for Cody Gakpo at the far post.

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde's low free-kicks asks a question of Dean Henderson but the Crystal Palace goalkeeper is down sharply to turn it away for a corner.

Henderson's goal is under threat again from the corner but Yerson Mosquera's header drifts just over.

Arne Slot has moved Curtis Jones to right-back, with Dominik Szoboszlai now playing in midfield.

Maybe this will get Liverpool going?

When you have youth and a team that has been struggling, a player like Mateus Mane is a breath of fresh air. He is going out and enjoying himself. It is refreshing.

Wolves are playing some nice football. They build neatly through midfield and eventually get a cross in for Tolu Arokodare but the Nigerian forward has his back to goal and can't carve out a chance under pressure from several defenders.

Callum Hudson-Odoi gives Ibrahima Konate a shove in the back as he's making the clearance.

The Liverpool man wants the foul but Anthony Taylor isn't having it. You've seen them given.
