    Preston 0-0 Wigan

Wigan are wearing all purple tonight. You don't see too many purple football shirts.

That might be why the first one that springs to mind for me is Harchester United from the TV show Dream Team...

Anyway, the League One side will be happy with their start here with Preston yet to really have possession outside of their own half.

  3. 'Jesus unlucky'published at 19:34 GMT 9 January

    Wrexham 0-0 Nottingham Forest

    Clinton Morrison
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live at the Stok Cae Ras

It's good football from Forest. Bakwa fires it into the box and Jesus is running at pace so it is a difficult finish. He's unlucky as it just goes over the bar.

  4. 'Great football from Forest'published at 19:34 GMT 9 January

    Wrexham 0-0 Nottingham Forest

    Robert Earnshaw
Former Nottingham Forest and Wales striker on BBC Radio Wales

    Great football from Forest.

Bakwa plays a really nice cross and it's good movement from Jesus but he can't wrap his foot around it.

  5. Postpublished at 19:33 GMT 9 January

    Wrexham 0-0 Nottingham Forest

All credit to the groundstaff as the pitch is looking in great condition. Forest start by stroking the ball around and they get the first chance as Igor Jesus sprints to the near post but can only stab a shot over the top.

  6. Postpublished at 19:32 GMT 9 January

    MK Dons 0-0 Oxford

First chance of the game is to MK Dons as Scott Hogan, who once scored a hat-trick for Rochdale against Oxford, has a shot blocked.

  8. Postpublished at 19:31 GMT 9 January

    Preston 0-0 Wigan

Wigan quickly on the front front at Deepdale and Callum Wright comes close to converting Joseph Hungbo's cross from the left.

His volley slices across the face of goal and just wide.

You've got to be excited about this. It's a great atmosphere.

There's a new energy to Wrexham these days.

And away we go in our four FA Cup games. It all has to be done tonight, so that means maybe extra-time and penalties too.

  11. 'It won't be straightforward'published at 19:29 GMT 9 January

Wrexham v Nottingham Forest (19:30 GMT)

    Lyle Taylor
Former Nottingham Forest forward on BBC Radio 5 Live

I'm expecting Forest to win. I don't think it will be pretty. I don't think it will be straightforward.

Wrexham will put on a good display. I'd like to see an old-school cup tie.

  12. Forest's strength in depthpublished at 19:29 GMT 9 January

Wrexham v Nottingham Forest (19:30 GMT)

    Robert Earnshaw
Former Nottingham Forest and Wales striker on BBC Radio Wales

The interesting thing with Nottingham Forest, this is the first season I look at the squad and the changes are quality.

McAtee, Ndoye, Hutchinson - Forest are still strong with all those changes.

Staying in the Premier League is of course the priority, absolutely.

But they'll still want to win tonight. Even if there are changes, you never feel like you take a game lightly.

The key is individual player responsibility. That's how you approach it.

Ryan Reynolds is here in attendance tonight, and just before heading up to his box, he spent 10 or so minutes signings autographs and posing with fans for photos.

He'll be hoping for a bit more Hollywood magic tonight.

  14. 'Wrexham will believe they have a chance'published at 19:29 GMT 9 January

Wrexham v Nottingham Forest (19:30 GMT)

    Waynne Phillips
Former Wrexham midfielder on BBC Radio Cymru

I'll never tire of talking about our win over Arsenal. We'll never have that again - us towards the bottom of the Fourth Division and them the reigning champions in the top flight, and at full strength.

It's different against Forest tonight. The gap between the clubs is nowhere near as big and, with the changes Forest have made, Wrexham will believe they have a chance.

  15. 'Oxford United needs a shake up'published at 19:28 GMT 9 January

MK Dons v Oxford Unjited (19:30 GMT)

    Lyle Taylor
Former Nottingham Forest forward on BBC Radio 5 Live

Oxford United Football Club needs a shake up and the team itself needs a shake up to try to turn their fortunes around.

Matt Bloomfield's style of football is different, and it is going to be very different for the boys in the dressing room to go from Gary Rowett's style.

  16. 'You've got to love the toughness'published at 19:27 GMT 9 January

Wrexham v Nottingham Forest (19:30 GMT)

    Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest manager Sean Dyche, speaking in his pre-game news conference, said: "I know [Phil] Parkinson - what a job he's done. I think it's over 1,000 games now, which is incredible in itself. A relatively young manager at 58.

"I've seen his career from afar for a long time now. I've played against him, I've seen his teams have great success, and he's been more or less successful everywhere he's been. He's certainly done a brilliant job there - in positive circumstances but it's still quite interesting circumstances with a lot of noise off the pitch. He just keeps under the radar and keeps his team going.

"Wrexham have had some wins on the trot now - I think it's four - so they're a good outfit and we've got to be ready for it. It's a tough industry but you've got to learn to love the toughness and some of the hard takes - and also the good stuff when it comes your way. There's a good feeling around the camp after going down to West Ham and winning that."

  17. 'We want to really crank it up'published at 19:27 GMT 9 January

Wrexham v Nottingham Forest (19:30 GMT)

    Wrexham

More from Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson speaking to TNT Sports: It's just nice to have that break [from the league]. There is always a different feel to FA Cup games. It's a fantastic competition, great tradition and history.

"I spoke to the lads yesterday and showed them some of the iconic moments of our club over the last forty to fifty years and made everybody understand that we have a great history in the competition and can we respect that tonight with our performance."

On facing Sean Dyche again: "He has done a fantastic job in his career and now at Forest, a big win for them away at West Ham last week. I'm sure all of the staff as we always do will have a drink after the game, but it is going to be competitive. We want to really crank it up tonight and create an intensity in the ground."

  18. 'Wrexham have not given themselves much of a leveller'published at 19:26 GMT 9 January

Wrexham v Nottingham Forest (19:30 GMT)

    Conor McNamara
BBC Radio 5 Live commentator at Stok Cae Ras

There are certain conditions you need for a cup shock. You want the lower ranked team at home. You ideally want the weather to not be so great - although cold you would not say it is a wild stormy evening here, so that's not particularly in Wrexham's favour.

The pitch is excellent, it's a Premier League level surface. So they've not given themselves much of a leveller in terms of conditions.

  19. Wrexham memories of beating Arsenal in 1992published at 19:25 GMT 9 January

Wrexham v Nottingham Forest (19:30 GMT)

    Waynne Phillips
Former Wrexham midfielder on BBC Radio Cymru

I grew up with the dream of playing in an FA Cup final at Wembley. I never got that, the closest we got was the quarter-final defeat against Chesterfield in 1997, with Sean Dyche playing for Chesterfield at the time.

But to play against the then-league champions Arsenal here in the third round and to beat them, that was like a final for me.

It was a fantastic day and a fantastic occasion. It gets spoken about this time every year and will do for a number of years.

  20. 'Preston to edge it'published at 19:24 GMT 9 January

    Preston v Wigan (19:30 GMT)

    Sutton's predictions

Paul Heckingbottom is doing a fine job at Preston but, with them chasing promotion, he is probably weighing up whether he wants another FA Cup run after his side reached the quarter-finals last year.

Wigan have come through two penalty shootouts to reach round three. Their boss Ryan Lowe will be desperate to get one over his former club but, even if Preston make changes, I still think they will edge this.

    Sutton's prediction: 1-0
