Really good save by Costa. Jesus runs in on the angle and hits it but he stays big and gets a big strong hand on it.

    Lucy Ward
Former Leeds striker on TNT Sports

There's not many that haven't played well in this Villa side tonight.

Almost perfect performance in terms of managing the game.

A good save from Diogo Costa keeps Igor Jesus' low strike out.

Forest have 15 minutes to cling on to this lead.

Nottingham Forest 1-0 Porto (2-1 agg)

    Dion Dublin
Former Aston Villa striker on BBC Radio 5 Live at the City Ground

Porto aren't wilting, they're growing into the game. They are looking more and more confident because they have held on for so long at 1-0.

  10. Postpublished at 21:36 BST 16 April

Forest have registered 17 shots to Porto's seven. And yet this feels very nervy for the hosts.

As a Palace fan, if you'd told me in the 90's that we'd have been playing Fiorentina in a European quarter final, I'd have struggled to believe you. The days of Rui Costa, Baggio and Batistuta are long gone, but this is a massive occasion for us Eagles fans.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:34 BST 16 April

Aston Villa 3-0 Bologna (6-1 agg)

Bologna send on Jens Odgaard for Santiago Castro.

  14. 'Hudson-Odoi overstretched'published at 21:34 BST 16 April

Nottingham Forest 1-0 Porto (2-1 agg)

    Dion Dublin
Former Aston Villa striker on BBC Radio 5 Live at the City Ground

Hudson-Odoi must have overstretched. He is walking off the pitch ok but there looks to be something wrong in that thigh area.

  15. Postpublished at 21:34 BST 16 April

Fiorentina 2-1 Crystal Palace (2-4 agg)

Since the start of this season, Crystal Palace have sold Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi for a combined £80m, lost to non-league Macclesfield in the FA Cup, gone on a rotten 12-match winless run, while boss Oliver Glasner has announced he is leaving.

But...remarkably the Eagles are 22 minutes plus stoppages from a European semi-final.

  16. 'Sancho is really effective in Europe'published at 21:34 BST 16 April

Aston Villa 3-0 Bologna (6-1 agg)

    Lucy Ward
Former Leeds striker on TNT Sports

It's good to have Jadon Sancho back and he is really effective in Europe.

Unai Emery has used him well, particularly when they have needed an outlet.

  17. Postpublished at 21:33 BST 16 April

Nottingham Forest 1-0 Porto (2-1 agg)

Why haven't any of the Forest players kicked the ball out of play? Now Porto are on the ball and the hosts could end up in trouble if they're not careful.

Callum Hudson-Odoi is sitting down on the grass, Murillo is back on but he's only done that as a necessity so that Forest can make the substitution. So Forest have got 11 players on the pitch but really it might as well be nine.

    Just odd all round, that.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:32 BST 16 April

Aston Villa 3-0 Bologna (6-1 agg)

Villa send on loan duo Jadon Sancho and Douglas Luiz for Youri Tielemans and goalscorer Morgan Rogers.

  19. Postpublished at 21:31 BST 16 April

Aston Villa 3-0 Bologna (6-1 agg)

Bologna probably deserve a goal for this second half but it doesn't come here as Santiago Castro doesn't make proper contact with a flying volley from Lewis Ferguson's cross and the ball goes backwards.

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:31 BST 16 April

Fiorentina 2-1 Crystal Palace (2-4 agg)

Dean Henderson has made some decent saves tonight and here's another one. This time he gets down to deny Albert Gudmundsson.

Palace need to hold their nerve as Fiorentina enjoy a sustained period of possession.
