Scoring goals has been Dundee's problem this season.

Having netted twice early on this afternoon, Steven Pressley will want his side to go on now and find a few more.

  3. Postpublished at 15:16 GMT 14 February

    Dundee 2-0 Livingston

Dundee have been in control since racing to that 2-0 lead, but Livingston carve out a decent chance that could have brought more.

Cristian Montano carries the ball into the box on the left and slides an inviting ball across the face of goal, but Scott Pittman can't get on the end of it.

That was a good opportunity for the visitors after an awful start.

  4. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:15 GMT 14 February

    Falkirk 0-0 Dundee United

United threaten for the first time.

Kristijan Trapanovski gets free on the left, cuts inside and the winger's shot is blocked by a team-mate.

Trapanovski gets it back and has another go, but this time it is a Falkirk foot in the way.

Next, there's a free-kick on the left for the visitors and Trapanovski's excellent delivery is headed powerfully by Ross Graham, forcing goalkeeper Scott Bain to make a smart save.

  5. Postpublished at 15:13 GMT 14 February

    Falkirk 0-0 Dundee United

A lovely turn there from Calvin Miller results in a Falkirk corner after he is closed down by two United defenders.

It's not a great delivery and that's a couple of times now the Bairns have passed up a decent set-piece opportunity.

In open play, Louie Marsh goes down in the United box, but referee Ryan Lee is satisfied Ross Graham's challenge was legal. There were no real appeals from Falkirk.

  6. Postpublished at 15:13 GMT 14 February

    Hibernian 0-0 St Mirren

Another opportunity for Hibs, Again, it's from the left.

This time, Jack Iredale whips a cross in and Dane Scarlett connects, trying to find the top corner with his header.

But goalkeeper Shamal George is behind the striker's effort.

  7. Murray ends long waitpublished at 15:12 GMT 14 February

    Dundee 2-0 Livingston

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at Dens Park

Well, well, well - you wait since September for Simon Murray to score and all of a sudden he nets twice.

Dundee have been quick out of the traps here.

It already feels like damage limitation for Livingston.

    Hibernian 0-0 St Mirren

    Chance for Hibs.

Nicky Cadden whips a cross in, but Dane Scarlett can't connect at the front post.

It bounces through to Miguel Chaiwa six yards out, but the midfielder can't control it and St Mirren awkwardly clear.

  11. Falkirk flyingpublished at 15:10 GMT 14 February

    Falkirk 0-0 Dundee United

    Kheredine Idessane
BBC Sport Scotland at the Falkirk Stadium

Good atmosphere, as usual, inside a full Falkirk Stadium. The only team to beat the home side in their last nine matches is Celtic, with the Bairns looking to record three consecutive top-flight wins for the first time since January 2008.

Visitors Dundee United, by contrast, have lost their last four in the Premiership and still await their first league win of the year. If it doesn't come today, their hopes of making the top six will be hanging by the slimmest of threads.

  12. Postpublished at 15:09 GMT 14 February

    Falkirk 0-0 Dundee United

Falkirk goalkeeper Scott Bain comes way out of his box to tidy up a loose ball with an opponent in such proximity, but such is the confidence and courage in this Bairns team that he nonchalantly finds a team-mate and the hosts are on the attack again.

  13. Postpublished at 15:09 GMT 14 February

    Hibernian 0-0 St Mirren

A slightly odd chance there for St Mirren.

Conor McMenamin drives down the right-hand side of the box and fires what looks like a cross into the box, but goalkeeper Raphael Sallinger has to take evasive action and tip over the bar.

  14. Far too easypublished at 15:08 GMT 14 February

    Dundee 2-0 Livingston

    Michael Stewart
Former Hearts & Hibs midfielder on BBC Scotland

Pretty much sums up Livi's season so far. Just far too easy to play against. It's a bit of a disparate squad - there's no real identity or cohesion to it. I don't see anyone coming in and being able to turn it around to be honest.

  15. Murray in a hurrypublished at 15:08 GMT 14 February

    Dundee 2-0 Livingston

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at Dens Park

The perfect start for Dundee - and for Simon Murray.

His opener was his first goal since September - the home fans will be hoping that can be the start of a scoring run for a player who has been prolific in recent seasons.

If it is, that bodes very well for Dundee.

  16. goal

GOAL DUNDEE 2-0 Livingstonpublished at 15:07 GMT 14 February

    Simon Murray

Simon Murray again! What a start for Dundee.

It comes from a great run down the right from Cameron Congreve who delivers a perfect cross to the back post. Murray outjumps his marker and nods home.

Reward for a strong start from the hosts but Livingston made that very simple for them.

  17. goal

  18. goal

GOAL DUNDEE 1-0 Livingstonpublished at 15:05 GMT 14 February

    Early breakthrough at Dens!

Yan Dhanda whips in a corner that drops into a ruck of players at the near post. Simon Murray is fastest to react and the captain lashes it in from close range

  19. Hibs fans voting with feet?published at 15:02 GMT 14 February

    Hibernian 0-0 St Mirren

    Brian McLauchlin
    BBC Sport Scotland Easter Road

Lots of empty seats around Easter Road this afternoon. The home support obviously disappointed with the derby defeat in midweek.

Looks as if around 500 fans have made the journey through from Paisley to support their team on a cold afternoon in the capital.
