That looked like a nasty clash for Lauren Hemp. She stands up to great applause from the City fans in the corner. They have stuffed tissue up her nose to stem the flow of blood and there is a clean shirt being prepared for her.

The City players did stop but the flag wasn't actually raised until after Kerr had put the ball into the net. The City players weren't playing to the whistle and were very fortunate it was eventually blown in their favour, after the fact.

In terms of the disallowed goal, there is no guarantee that it would have been scored. City defenders stop as the flag is raised by the assistant. Rose would have blocked it had without the officials' intervention.

Manchester City fans to our left have been in good voice and they will be desperate to see Khadija Shaw return to the pitch after the break.
She received treatment for a few minutes and didn't look comfortable with an apparent neck injury.
Chelsea supporters, who have enjoyed speculation linking Shaw to a move there in the summer, were singing "Bunny Shaw, we'll see you next season" when she trotted over to the touchline.
