It is all a bit slow and too many touches for the Netherlands.
They need to speed it up and get some urgency in the play.
No conviction in that finish from Donyell Malen. Memphis Depay again with a little touch and a great little ball - Malen scuffs it, that was a chance to redeem himself.

He leads a counter after Poland mess up their corner, but is dragged back by Nicola Zalewski who gets a yellow card.

I just look at Austria and the way they are organised in and out of possession.
It is very regimented, every single player has gone onto that pitch and knows what is expected of them.
They look like a really interesting team, they are not blessed with superstars. Yes, they have got good players in Marko Arnautovic and Marcel Sabitzer.
It's the team collective, it's outstanding.

This is the third meeting between France and Poland in a major tournament, and first at the UEFA European Championship. Poland won a third place play-off match 3-2 at the 1982 FIFA World Cup, while France won 3-1 in the round of 16 at the 2022 World Cup.
France are unbeaten in their last eight meetings with Poland in all competitions (W4 D4), since losing a friendly match 4-0 in August 1982.
France haven’t won their final group stage match in any of the last eight major tournaments (World Cup/EUROs), since beating Togo 2-0 at the 2006 FIFA World Cup (D4 L4).
Poland have lost their final group stage match in three of their four previous appearances at the UEFA European Championship, with the exception being a 1-0 win against Ukraine in 2016 – the only time they’ve reached the knockout rounds of the competition.
