If Pickford went to a "Big 6" team then yes he might get some tough games in Europe but those teams normally dominate domestically and therefore have better defences in front of him so probably wouldn't get as much goal mouth action.

Yeah because Pickford doesn’t know what pressure is…. Is there any greater pressure than a relegation battle? Oh and hasn’t he also been in a few semi-finals and a final. Including crucial shoutouts? Maybe Pickford just knows where he is appreciated. Because he seems to be constantly slated by none Evertonians.

I’m sat here watching Luton v Everton wondering, when will England’s number one get some ambition and move to a club playing the best teams in Europe each season. Is he really content with flirting with relegation each season? Surely a move would raise his game and benefit England too. Maybe he doesn’t think he could handle the pressure of a big club.

Luton Town have already beaten Everton twice this season, once in the Premier League and once in the FA Cup fourth round. As a league club, the Hatters last beat another team three times in one season in 1988-89 against West Ham. The last newly promoted club to beat the Toffees three times in a season were Leeds United in 1964-65.
This is Everton’s first away match against Luton since a 1-0 win in the League Cup in October 2007, with Tim Cahill netting an extra-time winner. Their last league visit to Kenilworth Road also ended in a 1-0 victory back in November 1991 thanks to a Robert Warzycha goal.
Everton could lose both Premier League games against Luton this season in what is the Hatters’ maiden campaign. Only three teams have beaten the Toffees home and away in their first Premier League season (excl. 1992-93): Newcastle in 1993-94, Sunderland in 1996-97 and Brentford in 2021-22.
This will be Everton’s first Premier League game on a Friday since beating Arsenal 1-0 at the Emirates Stadium in April 2021. Both of their away wins on Friday in the competition have been 1-0 (also v Middlesbrough in December 2008), with the Toffees conceding 15 goals in the five such games they haven’t won (D1 L4).
Luton have won just one of their last 14 Premier League games (D3 L10), with no side picking up fewer points than the Hatters since the start of this run (6). Despite this, they’ve only failed to score in one of their last 23 league games, a 2-0 defeat at league leaders Arsenal last month.
Everton have won each of their last three league games, each without conceding, although all three were at Goodison Park. The Toffees could win four in a row while keeping a clean sheet each time for the second time in the Premier League this season (also in December); only seven sides have had two separate runs of 4+ wins without conceding in a single campaign, five of whom went on to be crowned champions that season.
Everton are winless in nine away Premier League games (D3 L6) since beating Burnley 2-0 in December. Indeed, while five of the Toffees’ first eight league wins this season came away from home, each of their last four have all been at Goodison Park.
42% of Luton’s Premier League goals this season have come in the final 15 minutes of games (76th minute onwards), the highest share of any side this term (20/48).
Carlton Morris is Luton’s top scorer in the Premier League this season with 10 goals. He’s scored in four of his last six appearances at Kenilworth Road, and also netted the Hatters’ winner in the reverse fixture against Everton.
Luton’s Ross Barkley – who made 150 league appearances for Everton between 2011 and 2017 – has scored just one goal in 10 Premier League games against sides he’s previously played for in the competition. However, that strike did come in a match at Kenilworth Road this season, a 3-2 defeat to Chelsea.
