    Oxford 0-1 Norwich

Mohamed Toure scored on his Norwich debut in their 2-0 home win over Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.

Now the Australia forward - signed from Randers in January - has another tap-in on his full debut.

The 21-year-old also has the distinction of becoming the first Canaries player to score at Oxford since current Wales boss Craig Bellamy in April 1999.

    Leicester 0-0 Southampton

    Matt Piper
Former Foxes winger on BBC Radio Leicester

Winks has started well, which is why he's been given the nod tonight. He's getting on the ball nice and confidently, keeping it moving and drawing Southampton midfielders out of position.

  3. CLOSE!published at 19:49 GMT 10 February

    Leicester 0-0 Southampton

Nearly a goal inside a minute at the King Power too as Leicester fail to clear a deep cross and a slip from Ricardo allows Leo Scienza to fire the ball back into the middle from the left of the box but Cameron Archer can only turn the ball over the bar from six yards out.

  4. 'A fantastic start'published at 19:49 GMT 10 February

    Oxford 0-1 Norwich

    Che Wilson
Former Norwich defender on BBC Radio Norfolk

It's a fantastic start. Daniel Grimshaw has drilled it down the middle of the pitch and Oxford United will be really really disappointed that they haven't dealt with that and Toure just taps it in.

  5. EFL TROPHY: HALF-TIMEpublished at 19:49 GMT 10 February

AFC Wimbledon 0-1 Northampton, Huddersfield 0-1 Doncaster, Port Vale 0-1 Stockport

It's half-time in all three Vertu Trophy quarter-finals - and there's a pattern to the scorelines. All three away teams are in front at the break.

    Lightning start for in-form Norwich!

Goalkeeper Daniel Grimshaw supplies an assist on his league debut, arrowing a pass inside Oxford territory.

The hosts let it bounce in a calamitous display of defending, allowing Mohamed Toure to breeze through and roll the ball into an unguarded net.

Mascot Olly the Ox was applauding the fans during a stroll by the centre circle before the start, with ground staff also forking the pitch under a light show.

Oxford captain Cameron Brannagan appeared to win the toss before exchanging pleasantries with the match officials and Norwich counterpart Anis Ben Slimane, whose team are in a striking pink kit.

Interim boss Andy King has made three changes to the Foxes side which went down 2-1 at Birmingham last time out.

Caleb Okoli returns in defence in place of Jamaal Lascelles with Harry Winks starting for the first time since November, replacing the ineligible Joe Aribo in midfield and Divine Mukasa handed a first start due to Bobby De Cordova-Reid’s suspension following his red card at St Andrew’s

Tonda Eckert has made one change to the Saints XI which beat Watford 1-0 on Saturday.

On-loan Huddersfield Town left-back Ruben Roosken made his debut in Oxford United's 0-0 draw at Coventry City on Saturday but moves to the bench in their one change tonight.

Forward Mark Harris starts, with Ciaron Brown potentially stepping into Roosken's role.

Ex-Everton winger Stan Mills - son of former England international Danny - returns on the bench.

Will Lankshear, who is Oxford's top scorer with six league goals and one in the FA Cup, is suspended for his red card against Coventry.

Norwich City boss Philippe Clement makes five changes from their 2-0 home win over Blackburn Rovers on Saturday, including a league debut for former Manchester City goalkeeper Daniel Grimshaw because Vladan Kovacevic has a quad injury.

QPR loanee Sam Field will earn a full debut in place of Jacob Wright as part of a much-changed midfield featuring Liam Gibbs and Oscar Schwartau, with Tony Springett and Ali Ahmed also making way.

Forward Jovon Makama suffered a foot injury against Blackburn and is replaced by Mohamed Toure, while winger Papa Amadou Diallo is not involved after sustaining an issue in the warm-up three days ago.

New midfielder Paris Maghoma, who arrived from Brentford last month, is among the substitutes.

Birmingham will be eyeing a play-off spot as they welcome West Midlands rivals West Bromwich Albion to St Andrew's in our late kick-off.

Blues are unbeaten in six league games and have picked up 30 points from their 15 home games this season, losing only once, to Hull in October.

Chris Davies knows a win would take City a point above sixth-placed Wrexham and into the play-off places for the first time since August.

In stark contrast Albion have lost 11 of their past 12 away games, earning just a single point, after winning three of their opening four on the road.

Eric Ramsay is awaiting his first win after five games in charge, though Saturday's goalless draw at home to Stoke took them a point above the bottom three.

How Baggies fans would love him to break his duck tonight.

  17. Foxes and Saints heading in opposite directionspublished at 19:35 GMT 10 February

    Leicester v Southampton (19:45 GMT)

It may not be a Premier League fixture this season, but this is a very big game between two big clubs with a lot of momentum... in completely different directions.

The managerless Foxes have taken a single point from their past five Championship games and lost their past two home matches against lowly Oxford United and Charlton.

Their six-point deduction has thrown them fully into the relegation scrap and another defeat tonight could mean they are in the bottom three by Saturday evening, when they are coincidentally in FA Cup fourth round action at tonight's opponents.

Saints have won three of their past four league games, drawing the other, and have kept clean sheets in all of those wins.

They start the night 14th but a two-goal win would take them into the top eight - something they have done only once since the opening day of the season.

Huddersfield fashion an opening thanks to Will Alves' pace down the right-hand side. His cross reaches Mickel Miller at the far post, but his outstretched leg can't keep it down.

Meanwhile, in south-west London, Northampton's Michael Jacobs pounces on uncertain Wimbledon defending but his effort from the edge of the area is saved.

These are hairy times for relegation-battling Oxford and Gary Hudson.

Better known as Fred Big-Ox, the U's fan will not be shaving until his team are awarded a penalty, with the count since their last spot-kick 643 days and counting.

Hudson has been sporting a yellow wig and blue beard at games to illustrate the staggering timespan since Oxford last received a penalty decision in their favour.

He is using the stunt to raise money for The Joey Beauchamp Foundation.

  20. Oxford targeting tonic for midweek miserypublished at 19:30 GMT 10 February

    Oxford v Norwich (19:45 GMT)

Oxford are four points from safety after a run of one win in eight league matches, although new boss Matt Bloomfield was "incredibly proud" of their 0-0 draw at then-leaders Coventry City, when they held on despite Will Lankshear's dismissal 13 minutes from time.

With a trip to current table-toppers Middlesbrough next up in the league on 21 February, a home win over 17th-placed Norwich City could be vital if Oxford are to stay in the division, while they are also bidding to end a four-match home run without scoring that is the joint-longest in their EFL history.

Tonight would also be a great time to earn their first midweek win of the season at the ninth attempt (D4 L4).

No team in the top four divisions has a worse record on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during this campaign, with Oxford drawing five and losing seven overall in midweek since beating Luton Town 3-2 at home in January 2025, when Bloomfield was in charge of the Hatters.

Norwich are after a sixth win in seven matches in all competitions following their 2-0 home victory over third-bottom Blackburn Rovers three days ago.

Should they soar to another three points tonight, the Canaries will have claimed as many away league wins (4) since the start of the year as they did during the entirety of 2025.

Victory would also move Philippe Clement's team seven points above the relegation zone and eight points behind Wrexham, who currently occupy the final play-off place.
