Southampton deserve credit for the way they are concentrating when Manchester City have the ball around their penalty area.

No one is diving into challenges, which limits the space for Bernardo Silva and Phil Foden. Erling Haaland is getting embroiled in physical tussles with the visiting defenders and City's flow has gone.

VAR had a look but no handball and the hosts have a corner.

The disallowed goal seems to have unsettled Aston Villa a bit and Bournemouth have been the side doing the attacking in the last five minutes or so. No real chances, however.

Oh no. Ipswich are forced into an early change as Chiedozie Ogbene injures himself in the build-up to the goal. There was no contact and it looks like he may have snapped something.

He's carried off on a stretcher and Wes Burns replaces him.

Southampton can be pleased that they have kept the deficit to just one. The wheels could very easily have fallen off after conceding that early goal.

But, if they continue to give the ball away they'll have no chance of getting back into the game.

Savinho gets on a really good run from midfield and it looks like he's going to be able to get a shot off but the Brazilian is smothered by four Southampton defenders and the attack is shut down.

A let off for Bournemouth! VAR decides that the ball did go out of play and the goal is chalked off. This game remains goalless.

The ball looks like it is out to me. There was a shot that showed it more conclusively out than the freeze frame we have seen, so I hope they are using the right frame.

Southampton boss Russell Martin is getting a little bit frustrated at the ease with which Manchester City are moving the ball out to their left wing.

It seems he is not too keen on players breaking out of the midfield line to press City's defenders when they have the ball, which is creating the space to pass through.

There has already been two crosses from the left that have been over Erling Haaland's head. If City's players keep getting in positions to cross, they will get one right eventually.

Brighton have had five corners to Wolves' one as the hosts continue to press for the opener. They have been the better side but not really worked Jose Sa enough in the Wolves goal.
