The manager acted decisively at half-time, but it's a shame that he had to do that because he would have expected more from the starters.

In the end, you saw the quality. Ola Aina was magnificent and showed his importance.

They have got back on track and need to keep that momentum. It is important the manager starts to set the standards.

  3. 'Europa League is not easy'published at 22:38 GMT 26 February

FT: Nottingham Forest 1-2 (4-2) Fenerbahce

    Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest boss Vitor Pereira, speaking to TNT Sports: "When you change half of the team it is not easy to keep the level. It was my responsibility because we have an important game in three days. I decided to recover some players to have energy in the next game, but it is not easy when you change a lot.

"We conceded a goal and we lost the confidence to play. It was difficult for me to do four subs at the same time but I spoke to the players and said it was my decision and we needed to do it because the game came into a dangerous situation for us.

"They scored the second but then we started to play to our level. We scored. This is important to keep in our minds, Europa League is not easy. I know Fenerbahce very well and they came here to fight for the result.

"For me I know if you change five players you don't know what will happen. If we scored first maybe we get the confidence and we play with five new players on the pitch. With stress and pressure it was difficult for them to be themselves because they are not playing every match. In the end we are in the competition. In the second half we controlled the game and result, let's move forward."

It was a tough watch at times, particularly in thre first half, but the changes were good changes - although Fenerbache got the second goal, they started to regain control and Hudson-Odoi scored a really good goal. It drained the life out of Fenerbache and they were in control for the rest of the game.

  5. 'We're hungry for me'published at 22:33 GMT 26 February

FT: Crystal Palace 2-0 Zrinjski (3-1 agg)

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace captain Dean Henderson, speaking to TNT Sports: "I don't know what all the fuss is about! It's a great night. We came into the game and wanted to put on a good performance. In fairness to them, they made it really difficult for us but we managed to get the goal before the break and the icing on the cake at the end, which was nice."

On the prospect of winning the Conference League: "Obviously we're hungry for me. I think it's cliche to say, it's the next game that matters. We can't runaway with it. You don't talk about winning three months out. There are some good teams left in the competition."

  6. 'Maybe I gave some interviews that weren't really helpful'published at 22:30 GMT 26 February

More from Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner, when asked if he had received any assurances about his future:"100% assurance. If the players believe in me and the staff, that's the most important thing. Otherwise, you can pack your suitcase and go home because the players have to perform on the pitch. We have a great togetherness in the group - players, staff, really positive. The same with the sporting director and the chairman. They are sometimes wondering: 'Hey, this is the second best Premier League season ever. The best was last year. So maybe the best two years in Crystal Palace's history, playing European football for the first time - and there is so much noise?' Sometimes we really don't understand it.

"Maybe I gave some interviews that weren't really helpful, I have to admit. But on the other side, I always say what I feel. Sometimes it's positive, sometimes it's not so positive. But that's who I am.

"In the end, we are in a good position in the league and Conference League and so it's up to us to get a result and make a real good season of it."

  7. 'Today was a very clinical win'published at 22:27 GMT 26 February

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner speaking to TNT Sports: "It means a lot. We didn't have easy weeks and therefore now having two back-to-back wins at Selhurst Park. The games where everyone is expecting a win are often the most difficult one. Playing Wolves at home, everyone was expecting a win and we did it in the final minutes, and today the same. Today was a very clinical win.

"We took our lessons from the first game and then waited for our moments, and then at the end decided the game."

On the support from the fans: "We always said - since day number one - we've had a great relationship with the fans. They are always supporting us. Yes, they were a little bit critical but this can be. They can be critical when the results and performances are not that well. But I think overall, we are now in a good position in the Premier League and the last 16 of the Conference League – playing European football for the first time. I think now we can work on our consistency, integrating new players and having good impact. I think we are on track.

"In three days we go to Old Trafford. We don't just go there for a holiday to Manchester but hopefully to win."

  8. 'Most important thing is that we are through'published at 22:25 GMT 26 February

Nottingham Forest's Callum Hudson-Odoi, speaking to TNT Sports: "I think we made it difficult for ourselves. Sometimes you know when you are in the lead and sometimes you are comfortable. We showed a great reaction after the second goal. The most important thing is that we are through."

Much needed half-time team talk? "100%. It was needed to up the levels a bit more and focus on what we know more which is us playing football and the high press. We reacted very well.

"When the ball came I just looked at it and felt confident I could get a shot off. Happy with that.

"In situations like that when they get a couple of goals you have to calm the game down. We had to focus on what we know as best, trying to get the ball and trying to create chances. We have to keep working hard on the little things.

"Every game from now until the end of the season is a final for us. We have to be ready for every game and keep working hard."

They just needed to get through to the next stage and I think they are strong favourites to go on and win it from here. It probably wasn't the most convincing performance, but they just needed to get over the line.

It is a good night for the club. You can tell the fans are right behind the team and the manager at the minute, and this win means a lot to them.

Tonight was more about getting the result than the performance and getting the fans back on board. The fans haven't been happy of late and there's been a little bit of frustration with their home results, so to get a big result has got the crowd back on side. Fantastic.
