    See you then!

  2. 'We have to be resilient - it's part of our journey'published at 22:58 GMT 11 February

    FT: Sunderland 0-1 Liverpool

    Sunderland

Sunderland boss Regis Le Bris, speaking to BBC MOTD: "Obviously, they are a good team and they played well. We struggled a bit in the first half to find the right distance against smart, agile players comfortable on the ball.

"I think we wasted a bit of energy at that time. We tried to be competitive, but the second half was better. We were more located on the pitch, and we had our opportunities, but small margins define this kind of game.

"In the final third they were good - the team spirit was excellent, once again. It is a question of details, but details make the difference. When you chase the game, it is not the easiest pitch because you have to be clean, recomposed with the ball and those small margins in the final third you can change the dynamic of the game.

"Now, we want to win points and the motivation of the squad is excellent. We have to be resilient. It is part of our journey."

Liverpool boss Arne Slot, speaking to BBC MOTD: "Very important. I think we dug deep, after only two days of rest. Then going to a difficult away game. We showed again how well we can play on the ball. We created so many opportunities today.

"The character we have shown throughout the whole game was very good and that is why we leave this place with a 1-0 win.

"Second half, we had so many good moments and so many moments where we had quality players in promising positions.

"The overall performance in terms of work rate was really good."

On Mo Salah equalling Steven Gerrard's 92 assists in the Premier League for the Reds: "He has so many records for this club, but to have this one combined with such a great player. Both were unbelievable players for this club. Unfortunately for Steven, I expect Mo to go above him. I don't expect, but I hope he goes above him."On Endo's injury: "We don't expect a positive outcome. Like I said, we have to wait and see. We expect not to have him for quite a long time. That is not the first time with our right full-backs. We have accepted this every time. We have to find solutions to keep performing well."

Forest have the same affliction that my team Sheffield Wednesday have. A complete inability to put the ball in the net.

Some people don't like it when you start doing the hypotheticals but Forest should have won that game with the chances that they had. If they'd won that game they'd be one point behind Leeds who are being praised in this moment for being in great form.

Sometimes we can look so singularly at certain things but then look at the wider league itself.

Nottingham Forest boss Sean Dyche, speaking to TNT Sports: "There were some really good chances. They normally go in or should go in, it's very frustrating. We probed and asked questions but you have to find that killer moment.

"They have found it in other games. There is a lot of noise around this place. I said when we got here that it was not going to be easy. It's hard for us to take when it's not quite our day. The fans have been terrific home and away. The other side of it is a clean sheet and another point on the board.

"I've been doing this in the Premier League for a long time. We needed to win tonight but didn't. You're frustrated when you dominate the game.

"It's not news to me [pressure]. It's what you get over the course of the season. We have to move forward and work hard again.

"We have to do better than that in front of goal. There is no lack of effort from the players. They're not shying away from it. There's no time to lick your wounds. You have to park it. The main thing is the unity of the group."

    FT: Nottingham Forest 0-0 Wolves

    Wolves

Wolves keeper Jose Sa, speaking to TNT Sports: "I'm proud that I didn't concede and helped my team to one point. We still believe but everyone knows it's going to be difficult.

"Yes, it's a welcome relief [playing in the FA Cup at the weekend] and it will be nice."

On still needing points to go past Derby's 11 points - the lowest points tally in Premier League history: "Of course, of course. I don't wan this type of record."

  10. 'Really good performance'published at 22:44 GMT 11 February

    Manchester City

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, speaking to TNT Sports: "It was not easy after incredible emotions when you play an emotional game like Liverpool.

"It was a really, really good performance. So happy with the guys.

"A lot of goals. He has a sense of the second balls in the box but not just that the pace and intensity - he is a top, top player. With him and Marc Guehi the club make incredible signings.

"The team in certain moments is growing, people are coming back. It is really, really important.

"He [Haaland] had a niggle. Never doubt about the top scorers. The season is so long."

  11. 'Spirit and character'published at 22:43 GMT 11 February

    FT: Nottingham Forest 0-0 Wolves

    Wolves

Wolves boss Rob Edwards, speaking to TNT Sports: "I know we had a couple of moments but I think it would have been unjust had we lost.

"In the first half we were as bad as we have been. We kept giving the ball away. A few words at half time, I thought we showed spirit and character in the second half."

  12. 'Too easy for them to score'published at 22:42 GMT 11 February

    FT: Man City 3-0 Fulham

    Fulham

Fulham boss Marco Silva, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "We know normally in these types of games we have to be clinical.

"It was too easy for them to score the goals. At 1-0 we had a big chance and to equalise probably a different game.

"We have to be at our best level in these types of games and we weren't and that is why we lost the game."

  13. 'Every good game gives you confidence'published at 22:41 GMT 11 February

    FT: Sunderland 0-1 Liverpool

    Liverpool

Liverpool midfielder Florian Wirtz, speaking to TNT Sports: "We had to bring everything on the pitch to get the win here. Everyone knows it is not easy. The first time they have had a defeat at home, and we are really happy to have the three points. Very important to us.

"Every good game gives you confidence. When you get the ball you can sometimes do special things. It is always good to have these games because you cannot impact every game."

  14. 'Football is not fair sometimes'published at 22:39 GMT 11 February

    FT: Nottingham Forest 0-0 Wolves

    Phil Jagielka
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Realistically Sean Dyche's players have let him down. They should have put the ball in the back of the net. They had 35 shots, they probably had five guilt-edged opportunities, they score one goal and there's a good chance they win that game.

    Football is not fair sometimes.

    FT: Crystal Palace 2-3 Burnley

Burnley boss Scott Parker, speaking to TNT Sports: “I’m happy with the team and, of course, with the result.

“In the situation we’re in, coming off the back of an incredibly tough game for us at the weekend – for many reasons – that performance showed a group that’s full of resilience, full of commitment. All the staff, the players, deserve that today.

“You don’t get that result without proper resilience, standing up to certain battles and certain situations. The biggest lesson for any group is to keep coming back up – and we certainly did that tonight.

“There’s always been belief [that we can stay up]. The results over the last few months probably haven’t gone our way, tonight that definitely was the case. I said before tonight’s game, let’s not worry about where we’ve been in the past – let’s look at the present.

“Can a group of men come to Selhurst Park and win a game of football against Crystal Palace. I think every single player believed that tonight. I think that was evident.

“There aren’t many teams who would come back after going 2-0 down. It speaks absolute volumes for this group. If there was ever a question of how together this group is, how committed this group is, how resilient this group is – it said it all really.”

  20. 'It's not acceptable' - Glasnerpublished at 22:30 GMT 11 February

    FT: Crystal Palace 2-3 Burnley

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner, speaking to TNT Sports: "I can’t explain it. We gave the game away too easy. Maybe it was too easy. There was a lack of intensity and we didn’t defend well. We can’t show a consistent performance over 95 minutes very often. Once it’s this, once it’s that – and you get punished.

"The start was good, scoring very nice goals. We controlled everything. I’ve watched all the goals back and it’s just not acceptable how we defended as a team – just jogging around, not in the duels, not in the second balls.

"In the second half we tried everything, but we don’t deserve to win.

"I praise the boys very often for their effort. We had a great effort three days ago at Brighton, so it’s not about the character. I don’t know the reason [for tonight], the players usually work hard.

"When you throw the game away like we did, you don’t deserve to win.

"I don’t know what to do with this ball. It’s not serious play. We just can’t clear it. We start with a kick-off after the 2-2, we play the ball long, then they have a big chance – it’s not acceptable.

"Right now, we don’t have someone on the pitch who leads the team in these moments, who makes the players calm and decides about the meaning of the game – that’s why we lost."
