  1. 'It's not acceptable'published at 17:15 GMT 4 January

    FT: Newcastle 2-0 Crystal Palace

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner to Sky Sports: "It was a good performance but in the last four defeats we lost three just from set pieces. It's not acceptable and I have to find solutions to support the players better. We can't afford to give so many goals away from set pieces. it's the reason we lost today. I was pleased with how we moved the ball and defended.

On finding those 'solutions': "We need to look at where we can improve. In second phases it's just too much. We need to do better.

On Brennan Johnson's debut: "I was pleased with his performance, you can see what he will bring to our team. The players need to get used to him and the patterns we have. It will help him to get in better situations. He was a threat. Absolutely okay for his debut after just one day of training."

Alisson could have been in the corner on a stepladder and he's still not getting that.

  7. 'Absolutely incredible from Reed'published at 17:12 GMT 4 January

    Fulham 2-2 Liverpool

    Mark Schwarzer
Former Chelsea and Fulham goalkeeper on 5 Live at Craven Cottage

What a strike. Absolutely incredible from Reed. From the minute it left his foot, it looked like it was only going in one place. Off his foot and straight into that far right top corner. Amazing.

  8. Postpublished at 17:12 GMT 4 January

    Fulham 2-2 Liverpool

That is Harrison Reed's first goal since April 2023.

He won't hit a better ball than that.

  9. 'An absolute belter'published at 17:12 GMT 4 January

    Fulham 2-2 Liverpool

    Ian Dennis
BBC Radio 5 Live senior football reporter at Craven Cottage

What a goal from Reed. That is an absolute belter. His first goal since April 2023 and it's a cracker. Fulham have got an injury time equaliser with a goal that we will be seeing for many a year.

  10. goal

GOAL - Fulham 2-2 Liverpoolpublished at 17:10 GMT 4 January

    Harrison Reed (90+7 mins)

    WHAT. A. GOAL.

You cannot write this. Harrison Reed is on for his third appearance of the season. He picks up the ball about 30 yards from goal and he picks out the top, top corner.

It's postage stamp stuff. A ridiculous hit.

  11. 'Liverpool have stolen it'published at 17:09 GMT 4 January

    Fulham 1-2 Liverpool

    Mark Schwarzer
Former Chelsea and Fulham goalkeeper on 5 Live at Craven Cottage

Absolutely incredible scenes. The ball is whipped across the face of the goal with pace, Anderson runs to the near post to clear it, but it's allowed to bounce and it falls to Gakpo and he uses his thigh to push it into the empty net. Liverpool have stolen it.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 17:09 GMT 4 January

    Fulham 1-2 Liverpool

Of course, Cody Gakpo picks up a yellow card for taking his shirt off and it's his last action of the game with Joe Gomez taking his place.

At the moment Fulham are certainly looking the team more likely to cause a problem.

  15. Postpublished at 17:06 GMT 4 January

Five minutes left on the clock. It's Fulham who look the more likely at the moment.
