    Alexandra Popp (16 mins)

Chelsea keeper Livia Peng passes straight out to a green shirt from the goal kick and she's immediately punished.

It's nodded back towards goal by Janou Levels and into the path of Alexandra Popp and she lets the ball run across her before thumping a half volley into the back of the net.

A first sighter of the night for Alex Popp as she's picked out at the back post by skipper Svenja Huth.

She beats Lucy Bronze to the cross but directs her header wide of the bottom corner.

  5. CLOSE!published at 20:12 GMT 17 December 2025

    Wolfsburg 0-0 Chelsea

We've not really seen much football here in Germany since that early flurry of Chelsea attacks.

Sandy Baltimore did lash a shot at the side netting a few moments ago which is probably the best we've had.

    Juventus 0-0 Manchester Utd

Phallon Tullis-Joyce takes an awkward tumble while claiming a high ball.

The American keeper is already wearing a mask following a recent fractured eye socket, and the last thing Man Utd need is another knock to their number one.

Tullis-Joyce however is fine to carry on.

Real Madrid's opener has actually now been ruled out so Chelsea are still in the top four, just.

    Leuven 0-0 Arsenal

OH Leuven are debutants in the Champions League this season - it would be a real achievement for them to reach the play-off round.

They are showing their worth so far, giving Arsenal very little in these early stages.

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:10 GMT 17 December 2025

    Wolfsburg 0-0 Chelsea

A robust challenge from Millie Bright earns her the first booking of the evening.

Kessya Bussy was the unlucky player on the other end of it.

  10. Chelsea drop into play-off spotspublished at 20:08 GMT 17 December 2025

With Real Madrid and Bayern Munich grabbing early goals in their respective games Chelsea have now dropped out of the top four.

Plenty of time to play yet but that's shows how quickly things will change tonight.

    Wolfsburg 0-0 Chelsea

Chelsea fail to clear a corner on two occasions before a loose ball bounces towards hosts forward Lineth Beerensteyn.

The Dutch international goes for the spectacular with a bicycle kick but skews it well wide of the target.

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:07 GMT 17 December 2025

    Juventus 0-0 Man Utd

Heart in mouth moment for Maya Le Tissier as Amalie Vangsgaard robs the Man Utd defender and advances on goal.

Her low shot pulls out a really good save from Phallon Tullis-Joyce, diving down to her left.

  13. Postpublished at 20:05 GMT 17 December 2025

    Wolfsburg 0-0 Chelsea

Just a free kick for Wolfsburg in the end and a reprieve for Bronze. VAR didn't see anything untoward enough to intervene.

  14. Postpublished at 20:04 GMT 17 December 2025

    Wolfsburg 0-0 Chelsea

Lucy Bronze could well be in trouble here.

The England right back just caught Kessya Bussy high on the shin as she arrived late for a challenge.

    OH Leuven 0-0 Arsenal

Leah Williamson is on the bench again for Arsenal tonight as she returns from injury.

She watched club and international team mate Alessia Russo steer a header on target, but the effort lacks power.

Chelsea boss Sonia Bompastor is not taking their trip to Wolfsburg lightly with the German club also eyeing a top four finish to end the league phase.

"We are facing a really motivated team that are playing at home, and if they win the game they could finish in the top four.

"That's enough motivation for them to prepare in the best way possible," said Bompastor in her pre-match press conference.

Wolfsburg have won the Champions League twice before, as well as finishing runners-up on four occasions. They also ran out 4-0 winners the last time that the teams met in 2021.

She added: "Wolfsburg have been one of the most experienced teams in the women's game. They’ve had a lot of success. We know coming here won't be an easy game."
