United need to put pressure on Falkirk - Goodwinpublished at 14:59 GMT 21 February
Dundee United v Kilmarnock (15:00)
Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin tells BBC Scotland: "Today’s going to be a difficult game. Neil McCann’s done a really good job and they’re a team that’s scoring a lot of goals so we know we’re going to have to be defensively solid at time.
"From our perspective we’re on a decent run of form and we just need to try and build on that and get a bit of momentum. Yes, we’ve given ourselves a bit of a mountain to climb in terms of closing the gap on Falkirk.
"All we can do is win our game today and hope results elsewhere go in our favour. We’ve still got a couple of games in hand on Falkirk as well so it’s about trying to apply the pressure to them and the teams above us.
"And of course the teams below us aren’t giving up the fight either."
