Mauricio Pochettino is getting more and more animated in his technical area as this half goes on. He knows his Chelsea side are lucky to not be further behind.

They play the ball around the edge of the box before Bukayo Saka blasts it over with his wrong foot. Finally, Chelsea get a chance to breathe.

Just over 30 minutes and 16 shots at goal in this match. It's been a real pleasure to watch it so far.

Noni Madueke beats Takehiro Tomiyasu and his low cross goes past William Saliba who recovers to block Marc Cucurella's shot and then Enzo Fernandez places a follow-up just wide.

What a game!

It really is. Arsenal had three golden chances to go 2-0 up. They didn't take any of them.

He must see that so late. It's a brilliant save.

That said Arsenal come again with three huge chances!

First Bukayo Saka bursts into the box but his shot is straight at the keeper.

Then Chelsea lose the ball and Djordje Petrovic is called into action to deny Leandro Trossard.

And finally, the keeper pulls off a sensational stop to keep out another Trossard shot that deflects off a defender at the last moment and looks certain to drop into the bottom corner.

Arsenal's fans break out into a cry of "And it's Arsenal FC" in a hope to rally their side.

Chelsea have wrestled the momentum their way.

This has been pretty much one-way traffic from the kick-off but just the odd little hint from Chelsea now that they might have a threat. Alex Disasi was only a longer stretch away from turning in Benoit Badiashile's header from a corner.

Arsenal, though, are a real danger.

And at the other end Nicolas Jackson drives forward. He beats William Saliba for pace and his cross into the middle deflects off an arsenal defender and strikes the outside of the post.

It's end-to-end!

Arsenal play some brilliant football, relying on some quick feet from Martin Odegaard and Takehiro Tomiyasu, but the Japan defender's low cross is hacked away.

What a touch!

Declan Rice really is improving every game as he receives the ball on the half-turn, spinning past Enzo Fernandez before firing a shot just over from the edge of the box.

They have calmed down a little bit. I think for the first 10 minute or so, they were all over the place.

They have into it and had a bit more possession.

Agreed Raymondo. As has Ben White who looks really comfortable overlapping on the right.

Chelsea are growing into the game and are gifted a chance when William Saliba loses the ball, but the attack fizzles out.
