He curled in his eighth goal of the season in all competitions, with five further assists to his name.
The majority of those goal involvements have come in the last few weeks. That's despite patchy form for the club as a whole.
It's food for thought for incoming England manager Thomas Tuchel after Gareth Southgate and interim manager Lee Carsley ignored him for the Euros and subsequent Nations League fixtures.

Wonder if Spurs fans will forgive the team if they do actually lose - it would mean it’s a dagger into the title aspirations of their London rivals Chelsea and Arsenal. That maybe worth the sacrifice.
