Everton had 20 minutes and were on the front foot but didn't create much. Maresca tinkered with the tactics and Chelsea came into it. It's a long way from the best I've seen Chelsea play this season.

Nicolas Jackson has come closest for the visitors through a header that came back off a post before Jordan Pickford saved.

If it stays like this, Chelsea will trail Liverpool by one point having played two games more.

Portuguese players have already scored more Premier League goals in half a match under Vitor Pereira (two) than in their 16 Premier League games under Gary O'Neil this season (one).

Half-time at Craven Cottage with it goalless, although Fulham have been the better of the teams. Alex Iwobi has looked the most likely to score, having an effort saved in the third minute, before three further attempts from the edge of the penalty area all went off target.

New Saints boss Ivan Juric, in the media seats, will be pleased at his side's defensive stability so far, but has seen first-hand what their main problem has been this season - a lack of goals (11 in 16 and a half matches) and not much threat up front.

Bernd Leno has not really had anything to do in the home goal, with nothing on target from Southampton and only one off target, although the hosts are being frustrated by the division's bottom side at the moment.

You can hear the 'boos' from the Man Utd supporters - they're not pleased.

They did do some good things, but in the final third the quality has not come. Full credit to Bournemouth, they have moved them around, there's been some great runs and interlinking play.

Bournemouth have certainly had the control and Man Utd need to do better in the second half.

Both sides had four shots, three on target. One team did significantly better with theirs...
