Southampton have an opportunity to go for an equaliser just before the break with a free-kick midway inside the Aston Villa half. It is played short and worked to Tyler Dibling, whose ball into the box is over everyone. Wasted.

Erling Haaland and Kevin de Bruyne link up well in the middle of the park and De Bruyne drifts out to the right, threading through again for the Norwegian but Maxence Lacroix cuts out the pass.

Nice work from Crystal Palace again and the ball comes to Jefferson Lerma in the middle of the area. He gets a low driven show off and Ruben Dias has to throw himself in the way to prevent it nestling in the back of the net.

Manchester United have won six of their seven Premier League home games against Nottingham Forest, with the exception being a 2-1 loss in December 1994.
Following their 2-1 victory in December 2023, Nottingham Forest are looking to win consecutive league games against Manchester United for the first time since April 1992.
