An enjoyable game at Borough Briggs is back under way.

Thistle deserve their lead but they have been made to work for it.

The visitors have looked more clinical from middle to front but look far from assured at the back, with Elgin's goal being a case in point.

Elgin will sill feel they can get something from this one, but with Tony Watt and Ben Stanway really starting to grow into the game for Thistle it still feels like a big ask for the League 2 side.

Celtic have confirmed the signing of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The former Arsenal and Liverpool midfielder has signed a contract running until the end of this season.

Partick Thistle lead at the break through Robbie Crawford. After Tony Watt's cross eventually found Crawford, who hit home to give his side the lead. That was quickly cancelled out by Ryan Sargent's header that was bundled over the line from a corner.

Just as things looked even, Thistle's Alex Samuel was fouled in the box, which led to Watt stepping up and putting the Fir Hill side ahead heading into the break.
