  1. goal

GOAL Livingston 0-1 Falkirkpublished at 19:52 GMT 4 February

    Kyrell Wilson

A mistake in the Livingston defence allows Falkirk to win possession high up the pitch and Louie Marsh chips a ball out right to Kyrell Wilson, who finishes confidently from a narrow angle.

Not the start Marvin Bartley wanted as Livingston boss.

  2. goal

GOAL Rangers 1-0 Kilmarnockpublished at 19:52 GMT 4 February

    James Tavernier (pen)

And James Tavernier slots in his fourth Premiership penalty of the season, despite Kelle Roos going the right way.

A horror start for Kilmarnock, a dream for Rangers.

  3. Postpublished at 19:51 GMT 4 February

    Hibernian 0-0 Dundee United

Wow, Kristijan Trapanovski goes on a mazy run in from the left-hand, ghosting past two Hibs defenders. Then his shot from a tight angle goes out for a throw-in.

  4. PENALTY TO RANGERS / RED CARDpublished at 19:50 GMT 4 February

    Rangers 0-0 Kilmarnock

Dom Thompson is sent packing after just three minutes as he upends Djeidi Gassama.

The full-back is sent off, as he made no attempt to play the ball.

It was a ball slipped in behind that caught Thompson out, and he clambered all over the back of Gassama.

  5. KICK-OFFpublished at 19:46 GMT 4 February

    And we're up and running...

  6. Goodwin out to make amends at Easter Roadpublished at 19:45 GMT 4 February

    Hibernian v Dundee United (19:45)

Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin tells BBC Scotland: "We're expecting a really difficult game against a strong opponent. The business Hibs have done has strengthened their squad.

"But we feel we've done good business of our own and there will be opportunities for some of those guys to get some minutes tonight.

"We were 3-1 up here [earlier in the season] and put in one of our best performances of the season and then shot ourselves in the foot.

"We got an apology on the Monday from the SFA for a penalty that shouldn't have been. We felt we dropped two points, but everything needs to click into place to get the result we need."

  7. Top six would be the best - McGlynnpublished at 19:44 GMT 4 February

    Livingston v Falkirk (19:45)

Falkirk boss John McGlynn tells BBC Scotland: "It looks like they’ve changed to a back three or a five, which they haven’t done all season.

"We’ll need to be razor sharp early on in the game just to see if that has any change on how we go about it, and look to exploit any changes in the shape and how we get at them.

"It’s going to be interesting but we’re playing well and its about how we go about our business. If we do that then they’ll need to be good as well.

"Other teams will need to play catch-up [because of postponements] and we can take advantage of that. If we can get ourselves eight points clear at this stage then every game is counting down to the split coming and we need to keep ourselves ahead of the field.

"[Finishing in the top six] would be the best, better than an invincible League 1 campaign and a Championship winning one.

"We’ve come so far in a short period of time and being able to compete at this level, home and away, speaks volumes for all the work that’s been done and the players stepping up to the mark. "

  8. Can new boys rescue Hibs' season?published at 19:43 GMT 4 February

    Hibernian v Dundee United (19:45)

Former Hibs midfielder on BBC Sportsound

Hibs are capable of beating anyone in the league but they've not been able to do that with any regularity. David Gray needs a lot of the new guys to produce otherwise it feels like a horrible season of a good opportunity just frittering away.

  9. New signings bring Hibs 'freshness' - Graypublished at 19:42 GMT 4 February

    Hibernian v Dundee United (19:45)

Hibernian head coach David Gray tells BBC Scotland why he starts three new signings tonight.

"A bit of freshness, a lot went into the game on Sunday and it's a quick turnaround," he said.

"Grant [Hanley] comes out with his hamstring injury and Garananga comes in. Kanayo [Megwa] comes out not through anything other than he looked dead on his feet to be honest.

"Felix Passlack is an experienced player who knows the position well and played minutes on Friday.

"And then Dane [Scarlett] impressed in the game and gives us a freshness further forward."

  10. Postpublished at 19:40 GMT 4 February

    Rangers v Kilmarnock (19:45)

Killie boss Neil McCann was part of Barry Ferguson's caretaker team at Ibrox last season and spent five years as a player with Rangers.

His managerial record away to his old team amounts to three previous defeats with Dundee.

  11. Kilmarnock not out to 'park the bus' - McCannpublished at 19:39 GMT 4 February

    Rangers v Kilmarnock (19:45)

Kilmarnock manager Neil McCann tells BBC Scotland: "Absolutely brilliant, the boys really enjoyed that on Saturday - the result and the performance. They had a well-earned day off on Sunday, and were back in on Monday with smiles on their faces.

"The boys who started the game absolutely deserved the opportunity to go again. There were a few pushing to get into the starting line-up, and it shows the group has found some strength.

"We're under no illusions tonight about how difficult it will be. Rangers have been going great in the league.

"I've got a wee bit more of an intimate knowledge of the players, because they were here during our time. I'll set Kilmarnock up to try and win the game, we're not here to stifle Rangers and park the bus."

  12. Fernandez out with 'small knee problem' - Rohlpublished at 19:37 GMT 4 February

    Rangers v Kilmarnock (19:45)

Rangers manager Danny Rohl tells BBC Scotland: "I said this after Hibs, we have to look game by game. Today is the next opportunity to take three points.

"It makes no sense to look too far ahead. We have a tough game today, we know this opponent will be very motivated. We have to be ready for this.

"My group are ready, they are on fire, and we have to bring this to the pitch."

Rohl reveals centre-back Emmanuel Fernandez is out because of "small issues with his knee", while a cut suffered at Easter Road keeps Youssef Chermiti out.

The Rangers boss hopes both will be back next week.

  13. Teams have been further adrift - Bartleypublished at 19:35 GMT 4 February

    Livingston v Falkirk (19:45)

New Livingston manager Marvin Bartley tells BBC Scotland: "I said to the boys it was a clean slate. I thought it was important to make a couple of changes considering where we are in the league.

"It’s nothing too drastic in terms of the style and how we go about things, just some fresh faces in.

"We can’t accept bottom of the league and it’s a massive, massive task but it’s doable. I told the boys during the week that teams have been cut adrift more than we currently are and survived, in many different leagues.

"It’s down to us and we have to take it one game at a time. We can only control the controllables.

"I don't care about performances, I only care about points."

  14. Underperforming?published at 19:33 GMT 4 February

    Hibernian v Dundee United (19:45)

Both managers will concede that their teams have not met expectations this term.

Too many draws... Hibs with nine and United with 10.

United have only delivered five league wins so far, with three coming in the first nine outings, along with four of those draws.

With 42 points still to play for, there's still a chance to climb the table but the top four places look booked up.

  15. 'Rangers need to add goals'published at 19:31 GMT 4 February

    Rangers v Kilmarnock (19:45)

    Michael Stewart
Former Scotland midfielder on BBC Sportsound

Rangers are picking up points and they deserve great credit for that, but they are not blowing teams away.

James Tavernier is the top scorer [in the league] with six and three of those were penalties. I can't see how a goalscoring record like that across the team is going to be enough to win the title, hence the need for a new striker [Ryan Naderi].

  16. Rangers go for 10 in a row against Killiepublished at 19:29 GMT 4 February

    Rangers v Kilmarnock (19:45)

Rangers were off colour in Sunday's goalless draw at Easter Road and pretty fortunate to avoid defeat since Hibs squandered a few good chances.

That point looks less damaging after Hearts' defeat in Paisley as Rangers seek a 10th successive home league win against Kilmarnock.

The visitors have gone nine on the road without a win but spirits will be high after thumping Aberdeen 3-0 at the weekend.

  17. Another tight tussle?published at 19:28 GMT 4 February

    Hibernian v Dundee United (19:45)

These two served up a 3-3 thriller at Easter Road in September, with the points also shared in a 1-1 at Tannadice in December.

Both teams have scored in each of the past eight Scottish Premiership meetings, with Hibs just ahead 16-14 on aggregate.

  18. Livi look for more joy against Falkirkpublished at 19:27 GMT 4 February

    Livingston v Falkirk (19:45)

These two came up together from the Championship, with Falkirk clinching the title after a twitchy finish.

Livingston had by far the better of the head-to-heads last season though, taking 10 points from a possible 12 against the Bairns.

Falkirk may be a massive 22 points ahead of the league's bottom side but that trend has continued in the top flight as Livi have taken four of their measly 11 points from two games against John McGlynn's men.

  19. A Bartley bounce for Livi?published at 19:25 GMT 4 February

    Livingston v Falkirk (19:45)

Bottom-of-the-league Livingston have a new coaching arrangement in place, with Marvin Bartley taking over first team matters and the long-serving David Martindale moving upstairs in a sporting director role.

It's hard to imagine Martindale taking a back seat but Bartley, who had a modest 16 months in charge at Queen of the South, is a strong personality.

Livingston have won just one of their 24 league games but that did come at home to Falkirk way back in August.

  20. Two Hibs debuts, Sapsford in for Unitedpublished at 19:19 GMT 4 February

    Hibernian v Dundee United (19:45)

David Gray hands debuts to centre-back Manashe Garananga, who is on loan from FC Copenhagen, and Felix Passlack who will play as a right wing-back.

On-loan Spurs striker Dane Scarlett also gets his first start after coming off the bench against Rangers.

Deadline day signing Ante Suto is among the substitutes, as is Kai Andrews, who impressed as an early sub in that draw with Rangers on Sunday.

Grant Hanley, Jamie McGrath, Warren O'Hora and Josh Mulligan are among those missing for the home side.

United bring in Dario Naamo for Ryan Strain and Zac Sapsford for the suspended Amar Fatah.
