It's a fairly strong Brighton side too with just three changes from midweek and there's another start for 17-year-old Harry Howell, who made his full Premier League debut last weekend.

The keeper does well initially but Tonali has a pop and sometimes if you get a good strike on it then you can get that bit of luck. It takes a deflection but Newcastle won't care.

I don't think it'll be long before we see Gordon. He certainly brings the intensity. He's going to press, harass people, run with the ball, and make things happen.

Jacob Ramsey is the latest player to be shown a card, for giving the referee his honest opinion on the decision not to award his side a corner, taking our running tally in this tie to five yellows and one red now. Newcastle have to keep cool heads here.

For Villa they really need to slow the game down and take their time with everything. Just try to make it scrappy and boring, which isn't great for us, but that's what you need when you're down to ten.
