When Mansfield get hold of the ball Aaron Lewis and captain Louis Reed have both shown they are capable of popping it.

Salford kept the move alive, had one go, then another, and Woodburn just swoops in from the far side and Trafford, diving to his right, scrapes it away from that top corner.

Be honest, who expected a seven, eight or even nine-goal thrashing?

Fair play to Salford City who have regrouped since conceding that early goal to frustrate the hosts.

The seven-time FA Cup winners have still to register an attempt on target, while James Trafford was required to make a save to deny former Liverpool player Ben Woodburn an equaliser.

Salford's free-kick is only half cleared but they recycle the ball well. It eventually bounces for Ben Woodburn in the box. He connects well and forces a great save out of James Trafford.

Burnley's Ashley Barnes picks up a yellow for dissent. He was not happy about being penalised after a coming together from a corner.

Kelly N'Mai gets the chance to run at the City defence for the first time.

He gets turned away from the box but Abdukodir Khusanov is too eager and gives away a foul.

How on earth did that stay out??

Jordan Ayew slips Stephy Mavididi in on goal down the left channel, but his low shot is blocked by the legs of Saints goalkeeper George Long.

But the ball ricochets back off covering Southampton man Oriol Romeu and back towards the empty goal, where Ryan Manning heads the ball off the line and onto the underside of the crossbar to deny Leicester.

That's the closest we've come to a goal today!

The ball drops nicely for Phil Foden on the edge of the box and he can't resist hammering one goalwards but it sails well over.

He's certainly capable of the spectacular from there.

Loum Tchaouna with an effort better suited to the Six Nations. That was a great chance for Burnley to go two goals up but a woeful finish from 12 yards out or so.
