    Tottenham 2-0 Borussia Dortmund

    Paul Robinson
Former Tottenham goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Dominic Solanke is a lucky boy. He nearly made an awful mess of that.

Super play from Tottenham again. They're breaking down that Dortmund defence at will.

It's slightly behind him, he plays it off his left foot back onto his right foot. It just needed to be a tap-in.

  2. RED CARDpublished at 20:40 GMT 20 January

    Copenhagen 0-0 Napoli

Copenhagen captain Thomas Delaney is booked for a challenge on Napoli midfielder Stanislav Lobotka, but the referee is told by VAR to check the pitch side monitor.

The card is upgraded to red - Delaney won the ball but his studs were very high and he caught Lobotka on the follow through.

Inter break and Marcus Thuram plays the ball through for Luis Henrique. He's at a tight angle in the box but he doesn't get the right contract and slices it behind.

Three points here for Arsenal and they're well on their way to securing top spot in the league phase.

That isn't always great news, though. Just ask Liverpool...

GOAL - Tottenham 2-0 Borussia Dortmundpublished at 20:38 GMT 20 January

    Dominic Solanke (37 mins)

First start of the season and Dominic Solanke marks it with a goal!

He nearly makes a complete mess of it with the goal at his mercy, just five yards out, but he won't care - the ball goes in off the post.

It's superb work down the right from Wilson Odobert, bursting into the box after a one-two with Pedro Porro, then squaring for Solanke.

The ball is slightly behind the striker but it hits his back leg and just creeps in at the far post.

    Tottenham 1-0 Borussia Dortmund

Tottenham are well in control as another low ball in by Pedro Porro has to be cleared by the visitors before Djed Spence thumps a volley over the bar.

The Dortmund fans are still making a racket, though, as they swing their scarfs above their heads.

I'm losing count of how many times Arsenal have scored from corners this season...

We've seen three corners, two to the near post so far and they failed to beat the first man and the third corner goes to the back post and it's Trossard's job to get the ball back across and hope someone can get on the end of it.

Jesus again - right place, right time, how do you want it? Just like that. Simple header but great positioning and another great corner from Arsenal.

I know it's still early, but where has this desire, this workrate, this intensity been from Tottenham all season?

    David

From a Tottenham supporter that was a bit harsh that red card, a bit high, yes,but no malice or force in it.

    It's happened again!

Bukayo Saka's corner is sent towards the back post where Leandro Trossard heads it back into the mixer. It takes a flick off the bar and there is Gabriel Jesus to nod in for his second.

  14. 'Porro knows that's a big chance'published at 20:31 GMT 20 January

    Tottenham 1-0 Borussia Dortmund

    Paul Robinson
Former Tottenham goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

What a chance. Really good chance for Pedro Porro at the back post. Xavi Simons is looking really lively tonight.

Porro has his head in his hands. He knows that's a big chance.

  16. 'Fantastic chance for Spurs'published at 20:31 GMT 20 January

    Tottenham 1-0 Borussia Dortmund

    Gary Rose
BBC Sport at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Tottenham are a goal up and Borussia Dortmund are a player down making this a fantastic chance for Spurs to get a much-needed win.

Despite some nervy moments in defence they have been good value for their lead too, pressing high and attacking with pace and purpose.

    Can they keep it up?

  17. Postpublished at 20:30 GMT 20 January

Tottenham are upping the ante after that red card and Pedro Porro nearly gets on the edge of brilliant ball whipped in from the left by Xavi Simons.

  18. 'Svensson can't complain'published at 20:30 GMT 20 January

    Tottenham 1-0 Borussia Dortmund

    Ally McCoist
Former Rangers striker on TNT Sports

    Spurs have earned this position.

The opening 25 minutes, they have played very well.

He tries to kick the ball, there's no getting away from it.

But with his follow through, he catches the opponent on the upper part of the leg.

I don't think he can have any complaints about the red card.

  19. 'That's harsh'published at 20:29 GMT 20 January

    Tottenham 1-0 Borussia Dortmund

    Paul Robinson
Former Tottenham goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Daniel Svensson has dangled a leg out. It's mid-calf to the knee. The still frame doesn't look pretty.

    I think that's harsh.

Sucic should've got his shot his away earlier instead of playing the pass to Thuram.

Brilliant hold up play from Martinez and the ball in behind.
