  1. Applause from the Tottenham fanspublished at 20:52 GMT 20 January

Tottenham fans applaud as the half-time whistle goes, acknowledging an impressive first-half display from Spurs.

The question that will be on many fans' lips is how their European form can be so different to their domestic form? Win this - as they are firmly on course to do - and it will be 24 games unbeaten in Europe for Spurs.

I'd be really happy if I was Arsenal with that first half. I think that was a really positive start considering the changes to the team.

Created chances, scored the goals and in a winning position.

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:48 GMT 20 January

    Tottenham 2-0 Borussia Dortmund

Thomas Frank came into this game under huge pressure.

Well, 45 minutes in and that pressure has lifted - at least for tonight.

A first half that could hardly have gone better for Spurs with goals from Cristian Romero and Dominic Solanke coming either side of a red card for Borussia Dortmund full-back Daniel Svensson.

There's a massive 45 minutes to play out. If Tottenham don't win this game then it's a disaster for Thomas Frank.

I don't want to be pessimistic or be glass half full.

    HT: Inter Milan 1-2 Arsenal

    Alex Howell
BBC Sport Arsenal reporter at the San Siro

There are times when this game is so open and it's giving the home supporters hope.

Arsenal have been caught by Inter Milan a couple of times on the counter-attack which is unusual for them.

The midfield three of Zubimendi, Merino and Eze is not the usual trio for the Gunners so that may be playing a part too.

There are still some great moments of quality in this game though and it definitely feels like we haven't seen all the goals that this game could offer.

This is night and day to what I saw at the weekend.

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:44 GMT 20 January

    Inter Milan 1-2 Arsenal

Federico Dimarco is causing problems high on the left wing. He's played in by Petar Sucic and hammers one towards goal but David Raya gets down well to it.

Xavi Simons has been absolutely terrific.

You know sometimes you look at players and you can see they're really enjoying themselves?

    That's what's happening with Simons.

    Copenhagen 0-1 Napoli

Napoli make the most of their man advantage almost immediately as Scott McTominay rises high to meet a corner and guide the ball into the corner.

That's his fourth goal of the Champions League league phase this season.

Seems like Spurs have decided that finishing bottom half of the league and European success is the new model. Champions League will fit very nicely with Europa League title from last season.

    Tottenham 2-0 Borussia Dortmund

Excellent control from Pedro Porro as he plucks a high ball out of the sky on the edge of the box.

He gets it to Wilson Odobert but the Spurs winger's shot is straight at the goalkeeper.

  15. Postpublished at 20:43 GMT 20 January

    Inter Milan 1-2 Arsenal

Nicolo Barella brings Inter up the pitch and feeds in Federico Dimarco down the left. He whips in a beauty of a cross and Marcus Thuram looks destined to meet it but Cristhian Mosquera gets a big header clear.

  16. Mood much improvedpublished at 20:42 GMT 20 January

    Tottenham 2-0 Borussia Dortmund

    Gary Rose
BBC Sport at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

The mood is so considerably lighter here than it was at the weekend and the Tottenham fans around me join Dominic Solanke in having a chuckle at his finish there, the ball bouncing off his heel, onto his other foot and into the back of the net.

It may not have been what he intended but the ball is in the back of the net and the move in the build up to it was really good.

Could this be a turning point for Thomas Frank? It will certainly be a result he badly needs after the pressure he was under.

Saka's causing chaos down the right-hand side. He's giving them a really tough time, doing a great job at the minute.

Bukayo Saka's deep corner is awkward for Yann Sommer. He manages to punch clear but wins a free-kick anyway after he gets clattered by Mikel Merino.

    Looks a sore one.

It should be three for Spurs!

The ball falls for Xavi Simons inside the area, but he hammers it over the bar.

  20. 'It should've been easier for Solanke'published at 20:41 GMT 20 January

    Tottenham 2-0 Borussia Dortmund

    Ally McCoist

He went where he should have gone the last two times - in behind the centre back. The ball should have gone the other side of him.

He should've got an easier tap-in. But he'll take it.

    Brilliant, I'm delighted for him.
