In the end it's not even about competition between the players [for places], the words Jesus said even if the next player comes, he will still score his goal to help the team.

These are words I like to hear because they're coming into a different level now because, yes they are competing, but whoever plays needs to perform.

If I'm not playing you perform because next game will be easier for me when the team is winning. I like that.

Don't be fooled. Not convinced by this Spurs performance. Whilst the scoreline looks pretty, they were lucky today. They'll throw all momentum away with an awful showing on the weekend, as per usual. Frank won't last much longer.

Decent first half for Tottenham. Second half, we were awful. You would have thought we were down to 10 in the 2nd half. Why we insist on messing around in our defence with silly short passes and getting caught in possession and giving away possession? It is infuriating!

Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus, speaking to Amazon Prime: "It's a dream night. I always dreamed of being a footballer. I watched when I was a kid. I watched a lot of Serie A, so to be here in this stadium and score here is tears in my eyes because I always dreamed of being here.

"There is always a reason that things happen even whether it's good things or difficult things. I learned that during my 11 months out of the field.

"It is always difficult to play against Inter Milan. We came here last season and lost. Tonight we played better than them, we controlled them but they are a top team and they attack. We scored at the end and got the three points. We have to keep going because we have another one at the weekend.

"Everyone wants to start. I am a very respectful guy. I am not a kid anymore, I am 28, so I understand football. I am very happy Vik came on and scored a goal. I am so happy I scored and Vik scored. I am confident Kai will score when he gets the chance."

It's another dominant performance from Arsenal this season.

Pretty much every challenge they have come up against this season they have found a way.

That ends Arsenal's run of four away games in four difference competitions and they are unbeaten in them all.

Mikel Arteta has been able to rotate his squad throughout them all and two of his forwards have scored in this win, a near perfect night.

The Gunners have secured a top-two finish and will have home advantage in the knockout stage.

Big night Tottenham and for Thomas Frank.

There's two Tottenhams running about this season.

Fortunately it was the Tottenham that have been doing well in the Champions League who turned up tonight.

There were some terrific performances out there. Porro - outstanding. Simons - outstanding.

It's a much happier Tottenham Hotspur Stadium than at the weekend as Thomas Frank braves the rain to applaud the supporters.

He heads back down the tunnel and into the warmth of the dressing room after a quick hug from new signing Conor Gallagher.

Bellissimo Arsenal. Delighted for Victor and Jesus. Saka outstanding.

With the squad we have, Arsenal are surely looking at a minimum of three pieces of silverware this season. Some depth!

    Job done for Tottenham.

The game was won in the first half with goals from Cristian Romero and Dominic Solanke, while Dortmund had defender Daniel Svensson sent off.

Thomas Frank's side couldn't use the extra man to add to their lead in the second half but the three points were never really in doubt.

With a game left of the league phase, Spurs are well placed for a top-eight finish.

Mad to think that if Spurs get a positive result next week away at Frankfurt they will probably finish in the top 8 and qualify automatically! Frank is a genius!

We're two minutes into five added on and Tottenham should be 3-0 up.

They break quickly from a corner and Pedro Porro finds himself with just the goalkeeper to beat.

But he makes a mess of it at the key moment, accidentally nudging the ball with his right foot as he steadied himself to shoot - and the chance goes.

Yes, I must say I was doing Gabriel Martinelli a disservice for not mentioning his pass for Viktor Gyokeres for his goal.

A worldie of a ball forward.

Spurs won this game in the first 45 minutes.

I know the red card helped. The sending off was maybe a bit unlucky but the fact of the matter is that up until that point, Spurs had been excellent.

Can we please give respect and admiration on Gabriel Martinelli’s outside-of-the-foot curling ball through to Gyokeres from deep in his own half for that third goal? Superb!
