Whoever advances will be Villa's opponents in the last eight, barring a Lille fightback.

Olivier Giroud shows great technique to control a bouncing half volley and smash the ball into the net, but it won't stand as he had gone too early and was offside.

John McGinn has scored his third goal in the 2025-26 Europa League, netting for the first time since 2 October in the 2-0 win against Feyenoord.

McGinn had two months out earlier this year because of a knee injury, and how Villa missed him.
