If it ends up Celtic drawing, then would it be in Hearts best interest to put five, six, seven past Falkirk so that on the last day, even if Celtic win, it would need a seismic goal difference swing for Hearts to lost the title?

Where would Celtic be without Daizen Maeda right now?

His equaliser was a brilliant finish in off the far post when Celtic badly needed something. Impressive reactions to capitalise when he wouldn't have expected the ball.

They were nowhere near it with Motherwell well on top. The home side looked in control and destined to finally clinch a European spot the way the game was flowing.

Surely Martin O'Neill will make changes. It feels like three points is now a must but what a huge lifeline from Maeda, again.

    Darren O'Dea
Former Celtic defender on BBC Radio Scotland

The first half has been a microcosm of what it's been like under Martin O'Neill.

Celtic haven't performed well at all, but they know how to hang in.

Motherwell have had the better of the play, but Celtic get the goal before half-time and it's back on a knife edge.

    Ryan Stevenson
Former Hearts forward on BBC Sportsound

You could see the nerves of everyone in the first 15 minutes and Falkirk started really well.

Set-pieces have been so big for Hearts this year and what a header from Frankie Kent.

Ever since then, they have just gone on and on.

Derek McInnes will be in there pushing his players to get another couple of goals.

Derek McInnes must be delighted with the scoreline. It certainly didn’t look to be heading that way early on as Falkirk were well on top.

It’s difficult to see Falkirk coming back, so it looks like events at Fir Park will determine if the Premiership title is decided this evening.

  9. HALF-TIME Rangers 1-1 Hibernianpublished at 20:49 BST 13 May

An entertaining first half at Ibrox ends all square.

Martin Boyle slammed Hibernian in front against the early run of play, before Rangers created a slew of chances they failed to take.

Thelo Aasgaard, Youssef Chermiti and Connor Barron all went close, thwarted by a combination of poor finishing and excellent goalkeeping from Raphael Sallinger.

Aasgaard stepped up to equalise with a brilliant, bending free-kick from the edge of the box.

Hibs, remember, need to win to stand a chance of pipping Motherwell to fourth.

  10. HALF-TIME Hearts 2-0 Falkirkpublished at 20:48 BST 13 May

Tynecastle is rocking after Frankie Kent and Cammy Devlin give the hosts a two-goal lead and a big advantage in the title race.

The hosts had the best of the opening exchanges as the big match atmosphere had Hearts looking a little tense and nervy.

All that changed after half an hour when Kent bulleted in a header to put the Premiership leaders ahead, and Devlins deflected finish five minutes later put Derek McInnes' side in complete control.

  11. HALF-TIME Motherwell 1-1 Celticpublished at 20:47 BST 13 May

All square at the break after an end-to-end, action-packed first 45.

Motherwell's early pressure was rewarded when Elliot Watt's first-time volley squirmed into the back of the net, with Celtic levelling through Daizen Maeda towards the end of the half.

A spot of controversy from the last action, with Arne Engels' lobbed attempt coming off the crossbar after goalkeeper Calum Ward flattened Maeda. No sign of any VAR review for that one.

Motherwell goalkeeper Calum Ward flies out for the ball and clatters into Daizen Maeda, who then hits the deck.

The ball falls to Arne Engels, who dinks it off the bar, despite the keeper being out of his net.

Celtic may have felt they were in with a shout for a penalty there, but play resumes.
