The fatigue is creeping in here for Panama. Croatia have made changes and have fresh legs, but do Panama have that deficit in their squad?

Panama need a goal and send on forward Cecilio Waterman for defender Jiovany Ramos.

If things stay like this, Panama will be eliminated after back-to-back 1-0 losses in games that they would argue they deserved something from.

That lack of cutting edge is proving very costly. They've got 15 minutes plus stoppage time to change that narrative.

Another double substitution for Croatia.

Luka Sucic and Petar Sucic - they're cousins, if you were wondering - are on for Marco Pasalic and Mateo Kovacic.

These Panama fans are something else.

Thousands of oohs and aahs greet those chances.

They have only scored two goals on the World Cup stage, this is their fifth game.

Their fans are trying to suck the ball into the net.

The hydration break comes at a frustrating time for Panama, just as they were building up a head of steam and putting pressure on the Croatia goal.

Ante Budimir's goal remains the difference.

Panama are getting closer!

Amir Murillo twice tests Dominik Livakovic in the Croatia goal and then from the resulting corner, the keeper has to push Carlos Harvey's header over the bar.

Panama are going for it and are leaving these gaps for Croatia counter attacks. It's a really open game now.

The more Panama commit men forward in search of an equaliser, the more space there is for Croatia to hit them on the break.

It's leading to an entertaining second half so no complaints here!

Panama are not giving this one up. They win another corner and have pegged Croatia back since falling behind.

Again, though, the set piece only leads to a Croatia counter-attack.

For all that they impressed in the first half, Panama are now fortunate not to be two goals down and are yet to test Dominik Livakovic - at least with a shot that would have counted.

A good ball in from the right gives them a chance to change that but Jose Fajardo can't get his header on target.

And of course Luka Modric was at the centre of the move with a perfectly weighted pass.

As it stands, Panama are heading out. Remember, they have still got England to play in New Jersey on Saturday.

Croatia should be two up!

Panama win a corner but it's cleared, Croatia break and Marco Pasalic is suddenly bearing down on goal.

He tries to dink it past Orlando Mosquera but the keeper stands up tall.

The ball comes back to Pasalic, though, and he lashes the rebound high and wide from a tight angle.

It's yet another cross we've seen in this match. Again it's the right hand side, a wonderful ball from Josip Stanisic. The ball takes everyone out of the game and Ante Budimir is just there to tap it in from the far post.
