Former Sunderland & Bristol City midfielder on BBC Radio Bristol

When Coventry get it wide they get some good crosses in the box but Bristol City have defended it well so far.

Mason-Clark has looked a threat out wide.

Barring a big, big ciomeback this game looks done and dusted.

Tommy Conway slams the penalty straight down the middle to make it 3-0 at the Riverside.

His first goal since August and Boro are going seven points clear of third-placed Preston.

  6. 'Two incredible goals'published at 15:59 GMT 13 December 2025

    HT: Leicester 2-0 Ipswich

    Matt Piper
Former Foxes winger on BBC Radio Leicester

Mavididi and Fatawu were both on the front foot.

The game was a bit scrappy in the first five or 10 minutes but Leicester controlled most of that first half. De Cordova-Reid was probably going to win Championship Goal of the Season until Fatawu scored his goal.

It's been a really good first half with two incredible goals.

    HT: Wrexham 1-2 Watford

    Ian Mitchelmore
BBC Sport Wales at Stok Cae Ras

What an end to the half that was.

Both sides survived red card scares, with Kieffer Moore and Marc Bola escaping with yellow cards for separate incidents.

Then the hosts wanted a penalty for a challenge on Moore, but nothing was given.

Callum Doyle hit the crossbar with a header and Lewis O'Brien was off target with a pair of efforts in added time.

Time for a 15-minute lie down I think.

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:53 GMT 13 December 2025

    Wrexham 1-2 Watford

Goals from Mamadou Doumbia and Othmane Maamma have put Watford halfway to just a second away win of the season.

Wrexham had looked in control after Josh Windass had given them an early lead.

But they now have work to do to avoid back-to-back defeats after a lively first half.

  9. 'It should be more than two'published at 15:52 GMT 13 December 2025

    HT: Middlesbrough 2-0 QPR

    Neil Maddison
Former Middlesbrough midfielder on BBC Tees

Can we get a few more past them?

The pass on the first goal is weighted so well, the pass on the second goal is pitch perfect and Whittaker from those angles is lethal.

It should be more than two, I can imagine their manager is absolutely fuming.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:51 GMT 13 December 2025

    Portsmouth 0-1 Blackburn

Blackburn lead out-of-form Portsmouth at the break.

Yuki Ohashi's goal gives Rovers a slim lead going into half-time but can Pompey avoid a fourth successive league defeat?

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:51 GMT 13 December 2025

    Middlesbrough 2-0 QPR

Middlesbrough in full control after a dominant first half display was capped with two quick goals from David Strelec and Morgan Whittaker.

They're well on course for a fourth straight win and, with Coventry being held at the break, have cut the gap to the leaders to three points as it stands.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:50 GMT 13 December 2025

    Millwall 0-2 Hull

Kyle Joseph's quickfire double for Hull gives them a two-goal cushion over Millwall at the break.

The hosts dropped a place to fourth after Preston's early win at Oxford. Will they lose further ground on the top two today?

  13. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:50 GMT 13 December 2025

    Wrexham 1-2 Watford

Wrexham go close to an equaliser as Callum Doyle's looping header hits the crossbar.

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:50 GMT 13 December 2025

    Leicester 2-0 Ipswich

Abdul Fatawu scores from own halfImage source, Getty Images

We're still getting our breath back from that second goal for Leicester with Abdul Fatawu scoring from his own half.

Mind you the opener wasn't bad either with a Bobby De Cordova-Reid banger from 30 yards.

Ipswich have seen a Dara O'Shea header go wide and Jack Clarke having a shot well saved.

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 GMT 13 December 2025

    Birmingham 1-0 Charlton

Christoph Klarer's goal gives Birmingham the lead against Charlton at the break.

Work to do for Nathan Jones' side to avoid a sixth successive defeat.

  16. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 GMT 13 December 2025

    Coventry 0-0 Bristol City

    Goalless at the break.

Both sides have hit the woodwork.

    Both sides have forced saves.

Bristol City striker Sinclair Armstrong had a goal ruled out for handball although he might be unfortunate.

Not often you keep the leaders scoreless in a half though.

  17. 'Best goal I've seen this season'published at 15:46 GMT 13 December 2025

    Leicester 2-0 Ipswich

    Matt Piper
Former Foxes winger on BBC Radio Leicester

Some people had hands on their mouths or hands on their hands.

It was an absolutely outstanding goal. That's the best goal I've seen this season without doubt.

  18. goal

GOAL: Leicester 2-0 Ipswichpublished at 15:44 GMT 13 December 2025

    Abdul Fatawu (43 mins)

    WOW just WOW!

Abdul Fatawu is inside his own half, probably 10 or 15 yards inside his own half but he shoots, yes, he shoots.

Over Christian Walton it sails and into the net.

Goal of the season has just been scored.

  19. goal

GOAL: Wrexham 1-2 Watfordpublished at 15:44 GMT 13 December 2025

    Othmane Maamma (42 mins)

From trailing, Watford now have the lead.

Wrexham waste multiple chances to clear the ball and Othmane Maamma punishes them by drilling in a shot which beats keeper Arthur Okonkwo at his near post.

  20. Postpublished at 15:43 GMT 13 December 2025

    Birmingham 1-0 Charlton

It's all Birmingham as we count down to the break.

Christoph Klarer got Blues off the mark against Charlton and he threatens to double his tally but his drive from outside the box misses the target.
