Riedewald extends Sheff Utd contract

Sheffield United midfielder Jairo Riedewald has signed a contract extension through until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old joined the Blades as a free agent on a short-term deal in October and has made 10 appearances.

The former Crystal Palace man's deal includes the option for a further season.

"He has been a really important figure for us and he's also an outstanding professional who gets what we're trying to achieve here," boss Chris Wilder told the club website., external
