That's more like it from Pakistan.

Sahibzada Farhan and Saim Ayub have been struggling to get going in this powerplay, but Jack Brassell's first over goes for 10 runs.

Firstly Farhan manages to get another edge on the ball to take it over wicketkeeper Zane Green, then he pumps a one-bounce four.

Wicketkeeper Zane Green should have done better there for Namibia.

These are the opportunities you must take but he couldn't get the right height of the ball.

  3. Pak 21-0published at 3 overs

    Ooooh, that's agonising close!

Ruben Trumpelmann delivers another sharp delivery and it takes a slight edge off Saim Ayub's bat and heads in the direction of a stretching Namibia wicketkeeper Zane Green. He couldn't quite get his fingertips to it and it's another lifeline for Saim Ayub.

He will need to tighten up his shots sooner rather than later. This opening partnership could be pivotal.

That was agonisingly close for Namibia. That could've been a big, big wicket for them.

Saim Ayub has not found form so far in this T20 World Cup.

  6. Pak 9-0published at 2 overs

Sahibzada Farhan gets Pakistan's first boundary with a drive through the off side. The delivery was just a bit too full from Namibia captain Gerhard Erasmus.

Saim Ayub almost falls shortly after when he shanks the ball towards Alex Volschenk who can't quite get his fingertips to it for the catch at deep backward point.

That could've been a big wicket for Namibia...

Just three runs come off that first over thanks to a series of lovely deliveries from JJ Smit.

It is tense and nervy stuff out there. Pakistan will be looking to keep things tight, but Namibia will be looking to play with freedom today.

Namibia are going to play with a lot of freedom. They don't have any baggage coming into this game and that's when you play your best cricket.

All the pressure is on Pakistan here. They can't take too many risks at the start because if they lose a couple of early wickets, they could be in trouble.

  12. 'We want to live up to our reputation'published at 09:25 GMT 18 February

Namibia captain Gerhard Erasmus: "We really like it around here. It is kind of warm which we are accustomed to in Namibia. We are loving a bit of sweat. I guess we want to live up to our reputation of being a good T20 side in this match. We haven't quite hit our stripes in all facets. We have competed for large amounts of the games but we really need to do that against the good teams now."

  13. 'Batting has been a concern of ours'published at 09:24 GMT 18 February

Pakistan captain Salman Agha: "We want to bat first. We have played two games here already, it is a good pitch so we just want to score a good number and put them under a bit of scoreboard pressure. There isn't a lot of pressure on us because we have been in this position previously as well. When you come to a World Cup like this, you pretty much have to win every single game. We are ready for this game.

"The batting has been a concern of ours. We need to bat well. We did bat well against the USA and we need to do a similar kind of thing today as well."
