You feel for Linsey Smith - she is one of England's best fielders. She cannot believe it.

  2. Ind 270-6published at 48.1 overs

    19 needed from 11 balls

    So close!

Sneh Rana sweeps Lauren Bell hard out to mid-wicket, and Linsey Smith runs round and dives full-length to block the ball.

Unfortunately for her, it bounces off her outstretched arm and heads for the ropes, where a second fielder can't cut it off.

  3. Ind 266-6published at 48 overs

    23 needed from 12 balls

Tidy, tidy stuff from Linsey Smith.

Four singles off the spinner's penultimate over, pressure on India but a couple of boundaries would flip the game again.

There is now immense pressure on the tournament hosts.

  5. Ind 262-6published at 47 overs

    27 needed off 18 balls

Sneh Rana can't get a run off Sophie Ecclestone's last delivery.

That's her day done - she finishes with figures of 1-58.

She didn't need to take the risk. It's silly. You're the set batter and you can't give your wicket away like that.

Deepti had played Sophie Ecclestone so well and I don't think she was the bowler to take the risk against.

I just think Deepti had to be there at the end and the risk came from the other end.

  8. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 46.5 overs

    Deepti c Dunkley b Ecclestone 50 (Ind 262-6)

Sophie Ecclestone claims her first wicket of the day - and it's Deepti Sharma!

The India all-rounder attempts a slog sweep and sends the ball looping in the air.

Sophia Dunkley runs in from deep mid-wicket and takes the catch comfortably.

India have lost three wickets for 28 runs, off the back of a 67-run partnership between Deepti and Mandhana.

  9. Ind 261-5published at 46.1 overs

    28 needed from 23 balls

Four from the first delivery of Sophie Ecclestone's over!

The ball sat up nicely for Amanjot Kaur and she lashes it through the covers.

  10. Ind 257-5published at 46 overs

    32 needed from 24 balls

Amanjot Kaur is next up for India, and she takes a single to mid-on off her second delivery to retain the strike.

Richa Ghosh was looking for the boundary. She punches her bat on the way off.

Nat Sciver-Brunt has taken full pace off which I like and now Deepti Sharma has to get India over the line.

It's taken! Well pouched by the former England skipper.

  13. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 46.4 overs

    Ghosh c Knight b Sciver-Brunt 8 (Ind 256-5)

But Richa Ghosh goes from the next delivery!

That was remarkably similar to how Nat Sciver-Brunt got out in the first innings, but this time it's the England captain taking the wicket.

Ghosh simply lifts the ball to Heather Knight at extra cover, who takes the catch above her head.

    Advantage England?

  14. 50 runs

50 for Deepti Sharmapublished at 45.3 overs

    Ind 256-4

    Half-century up for Deepti Sharma.

A single off Nat Sciver-Brunt brings up the 50 from 56 balls.

  15. Ind 253-4published at 45 overs

    36 needed from 30 balls

India need seven runs an over from the start of Sophie Ecclestone's over, they manage six here.

A Richa Ghosh two over the covers brings up India's 250.

Nat Sciver-Brunt is taking pace off to make the batters create the power.

If you are India you need to set up for the slower ball and be able to adjust if she goes pace on.

  18. Ind 247-4published at 44 overs

    Need 42 from 36 balls

Deepti Sharma gets the final ball away!

Nat Sciver-Brunt's seventh over is a strong one initially, with just two singles from the first five balls as she deploys the slower delivery successfully.

Deepti pushes the last ball through mid-wicket and even though she didn't strike it too hard, she finds the gap between two fielders perfectly.

Sophie Ecclestone is such a hard bowler to sweep but Deepti Sharma gets on top of the shot really well.

  20. Ind 241-4published at 43 overs

    Need 48 from 42 balls

    Swept away for four!

Deepti Sharma relieves some pressure, bisecting two fielders on the rope to find the boundary at square.

Just a couple of singles off the rest of Sophie Ecclestone's over.
